I would not care about the no returns policy on this unit.
The cost of fixing it would typically be $70 plus shipping. As long as you did not spend more than $500 to $1,000 on service and accessories, you would be ahead of the game. Even if one DID spend $1,000 on service and accessories, one would have a like new machine, refurbished by the manufacturer. Which equals a new machine.
Thank you everyone! Hopefully I’ll win the bid on ebay and get started! I’m sure I’ll have lots of questions later.

Ah, this is why we tell would-be Home Users to forget about the garbage marketed to them. This used pro unit has an opening bid more than half the cost of some of the scam boxes you find out there, and it easily does galvanic, blend, and thermolysis.
All the pieces seem to be there, so it may be worth it to buy. Just try to make contact with the seller to make sure it is not a scam. I don’t think it is, as scammers tend to use stock pictures, and this is obviously a picture of the item and all the accessories. (and even that is just kind of haphazardly arranged).
Again, the same good machine, just make sure the seller talks to you, and maybe get some off ebay info to discuss the machine a little to make sure the person is real. Again, the picture is not a stock photo, and the person seems to have everything.
A Fischer SE-4 blend unit, currently at $80 with a reserve. A great beginner machine.

nice, im looking at it on ebay, what do you reckon the most should be spent on this unit? and do you think it would be esy to use
btw what kind of needles would i have to buy for this machine? anddd do you think it would be easy to use looks abit complicated :S but i am willing to practice pratice practice
Ballet Gold Probes can be ordered from Texas Electrolysis Supply 1-800-626-6025, or go to their web site and make an order online. You will probably want to get size F3 or F4
thanks james, also what is the maximum price you think i should spend on this ficsher unit i dont want to get ripped off, and do you think this is a good unit for me to start off on? thanks
or anyone?? the bidding finishes in 4 days - is this a goood buy helpppp pleaseeeee
The Fischer is a good solid unit. It will go from galvanic to blend, to thermolysis. I would try to get it for as little as possible, but I would not feel ripped off if I spent +/-$500 on it.
UK members, a Sterex Blend Machine is available on Ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130412689216
Everyone please note that this is a second hand obsolete model, being sold for £30 (+£30 P&P) more than other ebayers are selling brand-new-with-warranty-and-free-shipping SX-B’s (but they are throwing in some out-of-date needles ).
This is the second 30-day listing this item’s had, at the same inflated price. I also see they rejected an offer of £450.
The price is not great, but it does give a look at the type of machine available in the UK.
True, but an ebay search on “Sterex” will turn up better deals for those prepared to spend that kind of money.
Like this one, for instance. £100 cheaper and brand new.
