I have a ST Blend 128 for sale…excellent condition…see a pic under “advertising”
I am new to this subject and I am looking for a little help.
Is this machine even worth looking at?
I know people who would buy this lot just to get the book that comes with it! Yes, the machine is a good one that will do all three modalities. A good unit for home users and pro’s alike.
Apilus Junior Plus Seems to be missing the red cord, the long probe holder, and a rubber cover for the footswitch, but those are not all that important. Nothing you would not expect to replace in time anyway. Total replacement cost for those items would be less than $150, possibly even less than $100.
On the other hand, we have this Buy It Now priced at $1,400 Apilus Junior Plus that is missing EVERYTHING BUT the footswitch! Just keep in mind that you will be spending an additional $250 or more to replace what is not included in this auction. They are not even sending you the power cord from what I can see! (of course, if you have an old computer cord laying around, that is one less item you have to pay for) http://www.ebay.com/itm/260901746168
A.R. Hinkle Electro Blend UC3+
Ebay Item Number: 160725140272
Hi, I’m a beginner looking to start DIY elctrolysis. I’m hoping to get some advice. I found this machine on a local advertising site posted:
Used Apilus Electropil SM-500 Electrolysis Machine for $700.
A few questions:
Is this a good price?
Would it be a good idea to start off with this machine?
If I needed to replace any parts, would it be easy for me to find them?
Thanks in advance!
That is an excellent machine at a bargain price.
You can get full service for the machine at Texas Electrolysis Supply, 1-800-626-6025, and Apilus/Dectro fully supports the machine as well.
In my opinion, that machine would give you better than the Senior II at less than half the price of the last few Senior II’s I have seen sell on Ebay.
Just remember to read your electrolysis books, and get a partner to work together on getting good at this endeavor, and trade work on each other.

Apilus Senior Two Sold for $2,600
For all those who think Vector is not scammy, get a load of this laugh! I told you that these things could be made from a science project kit from Radio Shack for $50 or less. Here is the proof.
An Apilus Senior II; The opening price is a little high, though if it does not sell it might be worth it for our friends in Western NY to contact the seller anyway (maybe you can take a look at it and make an offer.)
I hope one of our hairtell folks got that cherry Apilus Senior Two! That still had new car smell on it!
Congrats to whoever got the Apilus Senior II!
$1600 may be a bit high for some, but for a more basic model how about a Clareblend Miniblend for $50 buy it now?
Needs all accessories but a blend machine alone for $50 isn’t bad!
Yay, 'twas I who got it! I didn’t overpay at $1625 did I? I was thinking about bidding on the new Apilus Senior II that ended prior to the one I won, but $2600 was slightly outrageous…
Anyways, I’ve been a long time lurker around the forums here and it has been an awesome resource! Tons of information and some really really knowledgeable members!
Can’t wait for the Senior II to get here!
An Apilus Senior Two at $1,625 plus shipping is a deal that would make any new Electrolysis School grad gush, if most of them were not dead set on buying something new in the box where no one broke the plastic but them.
You did great. I think those are still selling for about $3,500 new… before taxes, and before shipping.

Hello Smiles! Just curious, did you buy Fischer Compublend with intention to work on yourself? Or become an electrologist?
Hi I’m wondering about buying an electrolysis machine, a used one on ebay but a bit worried about it being hard to use. I’d like to use it on myself. I live in the UK. Have people found them worth getting? My mum thinks it could be a waste of money but I’d love to have one if it wasn’t impossible to use. Which are the best ones to go for? I’ve looked at these:
STEREX SX-T ELECTROLYSIS MACHINE. THERMOLYSIS. INC. VAT, FULL SERVICE & WARRANTY
CARLTON PROFESSIONAL ELECTROLYSIS MACHINE
STEREX ANALOGUE SX-B BLEND ELECTROLYSIS MACHINE. EPILATOR.
