Follizap, I embedded those pictures for you. If you object, I will remove.
Yes Johnson, I think this is feasible.
When the practitioner chooses a good strategy and works to kill as many hairs as possible from the first time, the client cooperates and follow all instructions, Electrolysis works this way. The results in this guy’s leg are above 95%. The boy’s back of Dee will have the same results because she has followed the same strategy.Beate did the same on the leg of a client and there are pictures.Whatever the method, the results are repeated over and over again. So be it in USA, UK, Germany, Japan, Australia or Spain. I have been defending this since I published that study in 1998. Michael did a few years ago when he first published his book The Blend Method. Most leg hairs Follizap son, were in telogen and here are the results. Is there something more effective than Electrolysis? It seems not.
This destroys the notion that hair follicles in telogen cannot be successfully killed.
Hi follizap, what probe, modality and strategy did you use? Thank you.
I cant remember the probe size or the modality and because it was my son I have no written record of it. I treated every hair to clear the area, from memory it was probably multiplex and a size three…
Thank you! Maybe you remember insulated or not?
can anybody tell me what is the maximum intensity of current we can use on body parts if one is using thermolysis? My electrologist uses 4-5 on face?I want to ask how much we can use on chest, abdomen, arms and legs? This question is to experts-Josefa,Dee,Michael,James or dfhaey…Please help me.
My question is the current which will kill most of follicles which are treated.
I wouldn’t want to guess, I don’t remember for sure, same thing would have been accomplished either way…
Equipment manufacturers do not follow a standard regarding intensities. A 4-5 on one machine might be the same as a 7-8 on another. The electrologist uses the minimum amount of current it takes to properly epilate a hair without causing adverse skin reaction. The intensity of this current in terms of volts or watts including numerical values on the machine is irrelevant.
Additionally, it should be pointed out that even if all machines gave a read out that was standardized, and measured in a scientific energy unit, it would still be dubious, to use as a guide for working on a specific person all of the time. For one thing, the person’s electrical resistance will vary based on electrolytes, and hydration. Additionally, insertion techniques vary between practitioners such that, it would be rare for two practitioners to come to the same treatment energy, even while working the same area, on the same person, on the same day, while using all the same equipment. Oh, and when, would one EVER find more than one electrolysis professional using all the same equipment, let alone the same treatment strategy?
James, if you ever get the chance, do arrange a trip to visit Josefa’s office. I think I can quite confidently say that you will find more than one electrologist using the same techniques and equipment.
But in reply to madhu’s question, your answer is pretty accurate!
Visiting Fran and Josefa would be one of the main reasons I would ever bother to visit Spain.
I bet the fine ladies in Josefa’s office still don’t end up using the same treatment energies when working on the same people. I can say this with confidence, as I have done this experiment in teaching sessions.
It would be interesting to hear Josefa’s comment on this.
If I see any more personal attacks in this thread I am going to start handing out vacations aka temporary bans. Comment on the posts, not on the posters. This goes for everyone.
Exactly David. I wonder if this absurd belief disappear someday.(sigh)
If what James says is true, what sense does it enter the presets on our machines?. When Skip Mahler says that you are not a pro until you have autonomy to decide what parameters work best, he is very successful.
And I would add something else, you do not master this field, until you do not know when a follicle has received enough, before checking if the hair comes out easily.
Very good point.
Follizap just seen pic of your sons leg. Nice work never come across it before heard you mention it but now I have a visual.
