Pain with laser depends on how coarse the hair is. So bikini and underarms hurt most. However, I never found the need to use a numbing cream. I just didn’t think I needed it considering the treatments were barely 10 minutes long.
Upper lip is generally a sensitive area when it comes to electrolysis for most people. That hurt the most. However, I also didn’t find a numbing cream necessary there since that area can’t be treated for longer than 15 mins. Eyebrows barely hurt. With electrolysis, certain areas where the skin is sensitive and thin hurts most like toes, inner thighs, and sides of stomach.
But like I said, I didn’t find the need to use a numbing cream for any of those treatments and I got a lot of areas done.
