Something You must believe in in order to notice. Maybe i should give it another try and check with my loupes if i could see any opening of the follicles. If it was significant i should - at 6-fold magnification.

Seriously - several of my clients felt really uncomfortable during anaphoresis even at low dosis. I dropped it because i did not wand to have them jump off the table before the treatment actually begins :wink:

BTW: would Kataphoresis also be helpful with thermolysis?

Back to the Platinums - i hope to own one in the 1st half of march and thus i am very interested in the mapping between modes of the PT and “similar” modes on the older Apilus boxes.

Take for example

a) fine hair in fairly old, relative dry skin (knee, lower leg) epilating with
Needle Size 2, Pulse Blend, 0.2s/37% per pulse, 0.8 mA galvanic, 4 Pulses per second, interrupted after two pulses (or slightly more thermolysis intensiy if galvanic is omitted)

b) male upper lip, extremly deep and thick follicles, needle 5 (although i wish there was a size 7), flash, 0.2 s/50%, 2-3 pulses, rate 4 pulses/second.

Yes, Cataphoresis is great for reducing inflammation, even from thermolysis.

Hi really enjoying the Apilus, what about treating milia, skin tags and facial caps, have been advised to use multiplex flash set at 0.01s 0.1% no pulse, multiplex 9.95s 18-40% is this the norm??

Well, here it goes:

E.L = Time * Intensity**2 * No of pulses

Documented on page 27 of the manual (of the Pure).

Obviously, the intensity must be specified as its absolute value, the fraction displayed on the display will not work.
Which brings back again another question of me: measuring the output of these devices in order to be able to compare them (with an oscilloscope).
