Part II: Laurier

I don’t know about the presence of sebaceous papules being reduced by insultated vs. regular probes… In my opinion (although my memory is so poor), here seems to be the same outcome in terms of amount. I have pigmentation from previous clearances to compare to what I think I had after the last clearance and there seem to be an equal amount (although, maybe this is because the ones from the previous clearances had not properly healed and thus we were going over the same ones/follicles?). I can’t WAIT until they are gone! It’s as if all the hair I had has been replaced by the papules, but not long until my skin appears to be perrrrfect.

PS. Hello! [If my silence is an indicator of anything other than a lack of time, it’s probably that I have so much confidence in J. and my treatment that I haven’t had the need to ask and e-mail questions non-stop. I hope I can use that time spent asking questions to give back.]

PPS. I love seeing all of you electrologists contributing, reading, and responding to one another. It gives me a bit of hope for the industry that you’re all willing to learn off one another. That’s my hippy peace & love over with.

Mr. Roy, Europe needs a distributor. I paid 98.25 € for the processing of the customs office for international shipping from Prestige. A little more and I could pay for the trip to go personally to your office and bring the probes myself.

That will require customer demand Josefa. The distributors are in the buisness of buying what they can sell. If there is a demand for it, they will carry it in their offerings.

It is the same in the electrologist’s office. If a customer requests that they be treated with the IBP, and the practioner is unwilling, that patient is free to choose someone who will.

It is unfortunate that the European Union demands such excessive tariffs, and I would like to see a more feasable way found to make them available to electrologists in europe, considering there is not a comparable product manufactured over there.

Looks similar like my neck

Thanks to Josefa, the last weekend I was a witness of the Laurier probe.

The treatment with the Laurier probe was not completely without side-effects, but compared to classic probes without insulation there was much less reaction. Really huge difference, with non-insulated probes and old electrologist I needed 1-1,5weeks to hide the neck, now 2 days after the treatment I had nothing to hide.

I think it is an great probe for sensitive areas like neck and face.

The last but not at least. I want to thank Josefa for the last week - it were really intensive 3.5 days, but allso had a great time in Malaga. And Im taking my hat off from the personality and the stamina of Josefa

Thanks Mike Roy, as you undoubtedly know, the IBP Laurier is a little gem to me. Unfortunately, I can not use the probe in all cases because I have more clients than I can deal with, and I have many problems getting orders from USA. So I have no choice but to select. Using the probe in the face, neck, fingers and hands of all customers, and other areas of the body of Asian customers to minimize the maximum hyperpigmentation. I hope that a matter of time that we have a distributor in Europe for your probes and European professionals will be on equal with professionals from the USA.

It’s been a pleasure working on you, Miro.
Just today, I commented to another customer how you made my job easier. I have not met anyone more supportive in finding the right position to work comfortably. You’re a very intelligent guy, the more accessible is the area and more comfortable the electrologist, the more hair we can kill in less time.

A note here, the electrologist who has worked in you before than me, has done a sensational job. The true regrowth is almost 0.
Congratulations to my German colleague!!

Miro, it’s good to read everything worked for you. Told you, Josefa is state of the art (no offense for anybody else here, please)

Josefa, I don’t know whether you did write about my hands and Laurier, did you?

P.S: surely you have an email of mine

Time for an update. Test results of the arm. A month and 10 days after the second clearance. Probably the third clearance is not necessary.

This time, small scabs appeared in some of the follicles treated. This may be due to a change in size in the choice of the probe. In any case, the skin will be perfect with a few more days, a few feet away, the skin is perfect. The eye of my camera captures more than the human eye can see, ummmm, Sony makes cameras too good … Some friends from Hairtell have seen the results for themselves. They can talk.

PS: William the background in the photo, you know, where she is, William is too.

Josefa, it occured to me that Dectro already has mechanisims in place to distribute their products worldwide. I have to ask Deb, but I believe they used to order from us from time to time. They can already place the undisputed best machine made in the hands of anyone in the world. It would follow that they would offer a handmade Probe for those who desire it, providing there is enough demand from their customers. They are located in close proximity to us here in NY.

I can understand their focus on a more mass produced needle, one can only imagine the thirst for needles their machines generate on a daily basis. This is a thirst we cannot begin to satisfy with our handmade process. We exist for the practioner who wishes to go that extra mile for patient comfort and superior results. This is why they decide to invest in the finest machines in the world at considerable cost to them.

I am also in the process of adding the ability to accept Mastercard/Visa, this will not lower the onerous tariffs charged by the EU but will at least simplify the process, so our customers in europe can order wholesale direct if need be.

Spectacular results, as always
I have been so lucky to see this with my own eyes. The test patch of the second clearing is 99,9% free of hairs. I agree with you Josefa, a third clearing may not be necessary.

Very sweet with William in the background. I bet he misses her very much when she is at work.

Just finished 2 hours of electrolysis on my neck with Laurier probe.
No superficial reactions at all. Fantastic!
I think Josefa will upload a video later

Josefa and Laurier probe is a spectacular combination, I am lucky to enjoy it these days. Until 24th October, Josefa is MINE!

I saw it too with my own eyes

Youre funny boy

Today, almost a month after the first clearance. I used a probe Laurier, in this skin of Asian origin. No trace of hyperpigmentation, Coincidence or causality?

I have to say that on my neck 3 weeks after the treatment on my neck, it would be impossible (allso for a professional) to recognise any signs of treatment at all:-)

For sensitive areas I wouldnt use non insulated probe anymore, insulation makes really a big difference.

While I love the laurier insulated (and I never liked insulated before) there are still things that I like a bare gold size 6 better for.
It is a great addition to the toolbox.

For sharing information purposes, I can honestly say that I go through phases where I use gold probes only, then I’m back to insulated probes, with the Laurier probe being the champ of insulated probes.

Gold is great for any case, any modality, including Synchro thermolysis, in my opinion. Scabbing is not a problem if all is being done correctly.

It has come to my attention that orders have been filled recently with the old packaging. Evidently one of our distributors chose not to update their stock as requested in August before Josefa “cut the ribbon” for us in september. This situation should be corrected shortly.

Anyone recieving the Probe in the old package since September, my apologies. If you would like, please send them attention to me at the address on the web page and they will be replaced immediatly, at no cost, with new stock in the sterile individual packaging.

I am also pleased to announce that we now accept Mastercard/VISA, American Express and Discover cards for wholesale orders (12 dz. or more)

-Mike

Hi Mike, I recently received an order from Prestige with the old package. I did not say anything because I thought it is logical that the distributor dispose of those in stock. It’s a great gesture on your part to replace the product, but as far as I’m concerned, if the packaging was not a problem before, now is not either.

However, the next order I do, will you directly. Thanks!!!

This is a recent case in which I have been working. This girl is 13, and except once, her eyebrows have never been plucking. The Electrolysis is highly recommended in these cases, because you can provide the ideal form, from the beginning, and this will be permanent for the rest of her life. Some women are afraid of fashion change and what today is well, tomorrow is out of date. But eyebrows have their universal measures and must be taken from the traits of each individual. If we stay within the ideal way more conservative, the result will always like the way this girl’s eyebrows had always been so.

I used a needle Laurier 002 short because most of the follicles were in telogen (shallow).

Virgin eyebrows as this are the dream of any electrologist (including my dear Michael) .

We’ve had requests in the past for sample packs and since the new packaging lends itself to it, we are considering offering 1/2 dozen boxes on a trial basis. This would make it easier for clients to introduce their practioner to them like Caith did, and for a practioner to try them with less investment.

We can make an assortment, .003S, .004M, .005L 2 each, or 6 of a single size.

Which would you folks see as preferable ?
