Mhmm, i am actually using ALL sizes You offer, i.e. 2 and 6 as well. Maybe You can make two groups covering all sizes?

That had occured to me too Beate, 2’s, 3’s & 4’s and then 4’s, 5’s & 6’s. Josefa works more in the smaller sizes where James tends to use larger sizes.
Josefa and James also seem to have rather different client profiles. And for me: i use the larger sizes mainly for beard removal and bikini/genital and the smaller ones for legs, back and for fine facial hair. In total more of the larger sizes.
It’s funny, Beate, I have never proposed to have a certain profile of customers. In fact I am proud to say that never in all my career I said: “NO”. Each new case has been an attractive challenge for me. I wonder if it really is not the client who chooses a particular profile of electrologist.
By the way, I’d say you and I look alike. You do not have a secret sister here?. Just kidding, dear.
Electrolysis on the nasal cavity with the Laurier IBP and Apilus Platinum:
It has been suggested that I explain what we mean by “RF transparent insulation” and how our insulation is different, so I will try.
Take a plastic drinking water bottle, fill it with water. Hold it in your hand and drop an electrical cord into it. You will not recieve a shock because, by the definition of the word, you are “insulated” from the water. The plastic will not conduct electricity.
Place that same bottle in a microwave oven and the water will get hot because the radio frequency waves pass right through the bottle into the water.
Now take that same bottle and wrap it in aluminum foil…You will still not recieve a shock from the cord because the bottle will not conduct the electricity, but now placed in the microwave oven, the water will not get hot because the insulation is now opaque to the RF energy.
(this, of course, assumes you have an indestructable microwave oven, as the sparks that would fly off the aluminum would start a fire in most )
This is what allows us to contain the burst of RF energy to the precise point down in the follicle the electrologist is targeting, instead of releasing it on the way down causing unneeded irritation and damage to tissue that is not the intended target. I have yet to test another insulation that can contain the RF along the shaft of a needle without significant leakage. They all can contain the direct current component of blend, but we contain the RF component also. The “egg white test” illustrates this. A discharge into a teaspoon of egg white held in the hand.
Thanks for the explanation, Mike.
I have allowed the audacity to use one of your pictures that I have found somewhere to illustrate the design should be very useful in curved follicles. Of course, only a bulbous tip like the one you made would be appropriate, because this special tip slides over the follicle curves without crossing the walls. The idea may seem absurd, but in any case, thanks for listening.
Did You try to bend one accordingly?
BTW to the “profile” i mentioned - sometimes it “comes upon You” - what do the clients demand from You?
A while ago You mentionened something like a focus on arms and legs. Which i do, of course - i am actually doing “everything”, like You, and consider each new situation a new and interesting demand.
Despite of that i must admit that i am strongly addicted to facial treatments, probably caused by my own history of still not being done with electrolysis of my face after more than 300 hours.

You need a holiday in Spain, Beate, and I also need a good electrologist. I’m afraid the premenopause, causing the appearance of a few hairs here and there, luckily the mask is doing double duty in me, (this helps to hide the hairs ).
Do you think someday there will be time for me? I am seriously thinking to travel to Hattersheim.
Dear Josefa,
Why not? It would surely be a good opportunity for a professional exchange and a hopefully an really nice time either.
BTW: quite in the vicinity of me there is another member of this forum who i consider working significantly better than me

Hi Michael!
Long time - no see! My dad said he and Kari Mette had a fantastic time visiting you! Thank you so much for reccomending me to your “northern-light” readers… I`m also a “Blender”(runs in the familiy, you know…); are these needles ment for diathermia only - or can we also use them? If so, where can I get them? We only have Ballett needles up here - and I really would like to try someting new - if someone “re-invented the wheel”…
Hello BeautyGuruNorway, I sent you a pair of Laurier probes, with a special and much loved messenger, our Boy1989. I chose a small size so you can prove yourself (if you need it). The peculiarity of this probe is the security it provides to work in sensitive areas with a high risk of overtreatment skin. Both hair with deep roots, like fine hairs with shallow roots, this probe can work with confidence. I did a little test on the leg of a client, I used a gold probe bare for a patch (F-3) and for another patch a IBP Laurier (003 medium). After a few days, both areas were clearly differentiated. Here’s the proof.

I know that we can not avoid a certain reaction in the skin if we want to get results, but it is very reassuring to know that we have tools that can minimize this reaction. From electrologist to electrologist, has been a pleasure to send you this little gem that I have had the good fortune to meet with our dear Michael Bono, and Mike Roy too.
New Needle…
I am now testing a brand new insulated needle manufactured in Japan. They have 3 sizes at the moment and seem perfectly designed for nearly all common-size hairs. The (tan colored) insulation is visible and flush to the needle blade. The insulation is holding up under blend (DC). Unfortunately, they require a different needle-holder, but they certainly are the most beautiful instruments I have ever seen. I’m supposed to be doing this “in secret,” but I guess I’m not after today.
I am going to get more and send them out to Jossie and others for evaluation. (They are properly FDA sterilized and marked … as they must be. Not just put in an “off the shelf” bag. FDA approved sterilization is a very big deal because the company that does the procedure must be inspected and approved by the FDA. Needles in the US are categorized as MEDICAL INSTRUMENTS.)
With 006 Laurier IBP:
BEFORE:
1 WEEK LATER…
2 WEEKS LATER…
(For Miro: Note that the hairs that were in a resting phase have been shorter than the hairs that were not present and have appeared later. The area was cleared completely.)
End of the first clearance: 3 hours and 20 minutes. Weather forecast for the second clearance, maximum 90 minutes.
Hi Michael, can you advance any further information? Are needles of 2 pieces?
New Video. Precisely this is a video work in the latter case with the Laurier probe.
I’m afraid I’m going to saturate the Internet with videos of Electrology. Fortunately, YouTube has a good selection of songs. If someone is bored of seeing the hairs die, you can always take the opportunity to hear good music.

Oh how I love to see your videos Josefa.
The hairs don’t stand a chance against your needle
Oh yeah, boy1989, it’s been fun being “your girl”.
I can not wait to see again my “third child” .
Why this picture reminds me so much to you and Trille?
Oh yes I love that song. Everytime I hear it, I think of my dear sweet Jossie
Soon Josefa is mine again, and only MINE
Copy and pasted from another thread that I wrote about the Laurier Probe:
"I used a Laurier #3 medium on a man’s back today working in the Synchro Back program level 3, .18 seconds, 276 el’s. My God! I had the best time ever! The client was very comfortable and the hairs were flying out with nice full bulbs whether they were in anagen or telogen (grains of salt). This is THE BEST PROBE for this type of work. No anesthetic and 1,677 insertions were accomplished in 107 minutes. Skin was pink - not red. No lymph fluid. He wanted to go longer, but I needed to be somewhere and had to stop.
Mike Roy, I have had plenty of time now to use the probes you have sent me, to conclude that your probes are absolutely AWESOME and of high value to the hairy. Man hair does not stand a chance against the Laurier probe and Synchro thermolysis. One insertion, one pulse, boom, gone.
I will copy and paste this and put it on the Laurier thread as well."
Copy and pasted from another thread about my experience with the Laurier probe:
“Yesterday, I used an insulated Laurier probe on my clients abdomen, etc. Concentrated work was accomplish from the top of the pubic line to her clavicles, areola’s included. Insertions accomplished: 2,265 in 170 minutes. Skin reaction : pink and a little bumpy. Used a thermolysis mode called Synchro in Lip program and the hairs slid out with ease and full bulbs. Client was comfortable. No need for anesthetic help.”
