Need help about skin ( orange peel/ indentation pitted car) after electrolysis

hello, i am a 28 yo french guy who developped massive facial hypertrichosis from topical minoxidil.
the hair are literrraly all over my face. so i decided to do some electrolysis .
however i knew that the area i wanted to treat were at risk of orange peel , so i told my electrolysis about this issue and he said there was no concern.
so i did the treatment yesterday and the skin is not looking good.
it has the look of massive dilated pores/ and some pitted scar/ holes. i am extremely depressed , because my skin was smooth ( just some unwanted hair). i am afraid that i will have holes in my face forever now…

Absolutely NOTHING going wrong here. I could give you a long explanation; but really this is all nominal/normal. Besides, a day later? No! A person cannot see any problems at that time period. What you’re seeing is an extremely MINIMAL reaction. Nothing happened, except normal healing! (I fiddled with your photos so the areas would show up better.)

As a 45-year veteran in this field, I don’t think electrolysis is for you. There is a certain point, albeit rare, when your therapist is going to quit! Were you my client, and you presented this stunningly over-the-top assessment, I would not continue to work with you. I would delay any further treatments and, when you were calmed down … refuse to treat you. Sorry, just being totally BLUNT and honest.

thanks a lot for youre time sir. and for youre honesty.
in the pictures that is really blurry ( my phone is not really high quality). in real life you can really see it.
i knew this was some tricky area, but i have really bad hypertrichosis and was tired of shaving my whole face.
So according to you the area near my nose ( the pore area) will become smooth again?
and the small hole ( on my cheek) will also fill in?
i’m sorry to ask you this but i always had quite a perfect skin ( on those area, no acne or scar) and this really worry me. i have to take the minoxidil because of heart related condition so unfortunately i can’t quit the drug which causes me the unwanted hair.

i litteraly have hair growing on this whole area ( i circled in white), that is insane, on each pore of my face ( previosuly i had just really microscopic vellu ) , and those are terminal hair.
so i know this is a delicate area but i had to do electrolysis and not laser i think.

Well, if you want to email me … we speak French here (my nephew) and our excellent friend (here now) is from Haiti.

Again, nothing wrong. All is perfect. The pores you are seeing are the result of the surrounding swelling (normal). When the skin swells, it swells around the pores and then the pores look like holes. In that area, you have a lot of eccrine (sweat) glands and those are the “holes” you are seeing; again totally normal. Now, go have a nice cognac and relax for the rest of the night … NOTHING is wrong and this will all go away 100%. I think I’ll have one too! Maybe a B&B … my favorite?

well i will just speak in french if you speak too. you have really relaxed me for the area near my nose. Well about the cognac i don’t drink but if the skin become smooth again i will certainly drink a cognac to celebrate !
and usualy it takes manu month for those area to recover?

oh sorry to bother you again, i also have done some electrolysis on my arms, and i have scabs all over the area, is this a normal reaction? thanks sir

i have some spot with " flat" scar and other with holes ( some follicle that needed more power to the electrolysis)

This will all be fine. Now, don’t have any more electrolysis until you see how this heals and you are totally comfortable having more treatment. Take the time …

thanks a lot. i know i am quite a stressed personn. i will avoid the sun for the next month and see how it goes. maybe in several month it will be perfect.

what is youre opinion about doing laser ( alexandrite) on the face? is there really a high risk of paradoxical hypertrichosis? thanks

Thing is, it’s unfair to all of us to come tabula rasa (as a blank slate). Unfair to expect us to offer you an entire education on skin, healing, laser and electrolysis. We cannot do it here!

There is plenty of literature on these subjects, on-line articles, tons of Youtube offerings (including my own), and very knowledgeable experts in your area (including Adrien).

Besides, you’re not even accepting our ruminations or straight answers … and continue to be “stressed-out and fearful.” WHAT do you want already? Maybe this is when the Deus ex machina should be cranked down? Or, maybe start a Novina? I give up!

i’m sorry. thanks a lot for youre time and patience, yes i have started to watch youre serie of video about the " healing skin", quite complex for a simple mind like me haha. but really interesting. but you also said that those particular area ( upper lip near nose/ upper cheek) are the " danger area" and high risk of orange peel i think

Indeed I did say that … and my toupee just flew off and is now stuck to the ceiling. Danger areas yes … but, not in your case. Now I have to get a chair to fetch my “rug!”

haha i’m sorry i am a stressful guy and i like to ask question too much. hair removal is really a fascinating topic. that is crazy that nowadays we can send men into space but we don’t have a device we could permanently remove hair speedly ( like an alexandrite laser that would work like electrolysis, and leave no marks).

With that handsome face, you’ve got stop worrying about anything. Go-thee-forth and enjoy your youth, because sooner than you think, the whole body gives-out on you. You will get wrinkled, bald, weak and start growing barnacles on your skin and, eventually, your butt falls off. And, that’s just the start … if you’re lucky. If I looked like you, NOTHING would bother me … I’d be out in the streets celebrating and “pickin’ up girls.” Get to it! Don’t wast any more time, mate!

thanks for youre kind word sir, however i have to take a medication for a genetic medical condition which causes me really severe hypertrichosis everywhere. and i mean like pcos for women on the face, and also my whole body grow hair everywhere ( back , shoulder etc). and i can’t stop this medication unfortunately.
i never had body or unwanted facial hair before taking this drug. i knew it could be reversible if i stop but unfortunately i cant if i want to stay healthy.
so in my case i have to do permanent hair removal, because i know laser only " miniaturized" the follicle, so if i keep taking the drug they would come back again and again.
electrolysis is the key , but it will be really long i think and i am quite afraid to " ruin" my face with scarring .

This Area you marked… that have Nothing to do with Minoxidill

By me the Same litterarly and I never Used Minoxidl not even any pills like : Finasterid… Dutasterid not even taked medicince.

I have the Same … my Mother also.

In this Area i get tons of Vellus hairs… White /fine /thins hairs. Even friends and so got it too. But think it have to do with Age. I had this very long not too.
The Hiars are also where you marked under my eyes… uppercheeks… You dont see this Hairs usual. But they feel disgusting even you dont do anything. You feel this hairs.
