BTW, this site is WAY goofed up!
Yeah, I’m still trying to find out more info and all. My shock is in comparison to the prices at this place On the one hand, they have apparently been doing this a long time, and one of their techs (not the one I spoke to, I think) is certified by Federation of Canadian Electrologists Associations.
But on the other hand, the lady who I spoke with seemed to be surprised I was asking what method and machine they use. I looked up said machine (Quantum) only to find that it’s a laser IPL machine?? WTH?!
Just done a whole paragraph for it not to appear site definitely needs sorting.
Stay away if they are trying to blag IPL as being electrolysis something seriously wrong there.
My post before what just to state as I have before no matter if your going for 10 minutes or an hour session the emotions can be the same.
We should not disregard someone because we feel they shouldn’t be getting upset over something because you may have seen worse.
What effects some many not effect others and visa versa.
I do not agree with anyone calling on a Sunday or expect appointment within next 24 hours, personally if that was possible I’d think they were not good at there job to have openings there and then.
Anyone plucking or waxing is totally defeating the object and wasting there money good and proper. - lets hope this one posts.
I agree with what you said re: her blog. However, the rest of the site REALLY needs content. It looks unfinished, and therefore, makes me wonder about the person whom the website is representing.
Shallow, I know.
Web site design, and electrolysis, are two very different skillsets. One is a creative process, the other, well, kills things! I wouldnt judge a electrologist by their site. By doing so you are forcing every electrologist to hire a web developer for their site, and actually would be driving up electrolysis prices.

It’s not so much empathizing with the folks with hairs … I was explaining why the cost is higher for the 15-minuts appointment.
I have never been able to schedule more than ONE 15-minute appointment per hour.
Imagine you have a patient scheduled at 4:00 and another 15-minute client at 4:30. Sounds easy to do, right?
What happens when your 4:00 is 20 minutes late? And this is very common. You are ready and waiting and get a call at 4:10 that “there’s so much traffic!”
The client arrives at 4:20, add in the minimum of 5-minutes of chitchat and getting settled-in, and there you are, bumping into the next client.
This 15-minute breakdown is universal in the industry, but I think it’s ridiculous. We should have a simple “minimum charge” and that’s it. You are going to spend at least a half-hour on that so-called “15-minute client” anyway.
Seana, yes, you are so right … I’m having to do some major “heroics” to get my crapola to post.
You might also notice that the “time stamp” for posts is goofed up too. I posted at 1:02 Pacific Standard time (California), and in the past all posts were based on this time zone.
Notice that my 1:02 became 8:02 PM … (Japan time zone?) Maybe the “server” is in China?
I was actually 20 mins early for my appointment today. It’s summer hols here and traffic has been mad I’m never late but normally 5 - 10 mins before appointment. So happened that there was no traffic and I sailed through I would assume if I was 20 mins late I would have to reschedule so try to give myself plenty of time.
Hopefully site will restore soon
I let go the last client who came late. Not for that reason( she provided me some very good reasons) , but it was a factor. She would regularly arive either arly or late, the last time was an hour and a half late and then wanted to sit and have a coffee first.
So I definitely feel your pain. My “2 hour sessions” often ended up taking 1/2 a day or more. Difficult when your 9:00 doesnt arrive until 10:00 then you are billing for your time.
It was the first and only time I’ve had to say “no more”. Doesnt make it easy to do though.

That sounds like a realistic scenario, now that you put it that way
Okay, SeanaTG, I finally ambled all over the website, and I was wrong! The info provided does make me more comfortable with her (scanned copies from old books and going all technical with the explanations, in a manner that actually elucidates for the lay person, always impresses me - I’m a sucker).
I still say the website needs improvement, but I’m more comfortable with her now.
