Electrolysis ON face/Cheek - PHOTO INSIDE

I am really bothered by hairs on my upper cheeks, they are black and they are really annoying, I would like to know if it safe, and if the region would be smooth with no traces after the treatment.
Also and most important - How much time will this area get cleared ?
Both cheeks have aprox same amount of hair.
NOTE: I want to take off only the hairs ABOVE the black line.

THANKS!!

Electrolysis can be done on the face. It is safe if you choose a skilled electrologist.

Two questions:

  1. In your opinion how much session/time will be needed to take those of both side same amount?
2.Between the sessions will I have hair on those areas ?

QUESTIONS ASKED TO EVERYONE

The link isnā€™t working for me, but maybe itā€™s just me. Iā€™m getting a message:

שום קובׄ לא נבח×Ø
הקובׄ לא קיים

(It was in Hebrew before, but after copying and pasting it, hairtell switched it to thatā€¦ interesting)

I havenā€™t been to Sunday School in 12 years so I canā€™t read it anymore lol.

Anyways, most of the hair from what I can see in the pic looks just fine and long, and not that dense. Itā€™s really hard to guess how much time it would take to be done with the areas. Iā€™d venture 2 hours for both sides above the black line for a first clearance.

For the second question, electrolysis can only remove the hairs present at the time, so immediately after treatment, you wonā€™t have hair in those areas. In the following weeks, hair that wasnā€™t at the surface before will grow and you will see hair again, but it will look sparser. Then you kill those, and the process continues until all hair is gone

Thanks for the info Ill re-upload
1.But I have not touched the hair so how its possible there is hair under ?
2.Can you estimate in how much time I can get rid of it completely ?
3. So actually between the treatments I will look like after them no ?
4. Is 2 hour for both or one cheek ? is it a long treatment ?

EDIT: How can I edit the first post ?

Welcome to the forum hairy life!

Sorry to be the one to say this, but you should really poke around and do some backreading on here. All the fabulous ā€œproā€™sā€ have given their valuable time to provide lots of insight on how electrolysis treatment works and different strategies theyā€™ve found effective for different areas and different people. (and you will find different answers :))

if after that you still have questions, definitely donā€™t be afraid to ask them. the advice Iā€™ve gotten on here has been invaluable to my removal process.

to answer your questions briefly: your hair has stages of growth, not all of your follicles are producing visible hair when you go in. all treated hair is gone when you walk out the door. hair not visible at time of treatment may be visible a couple weeks later in the same general area, but it is in different follicles than the ones treated. go get a few consultations for a time estimate, itā€™s so worth it!

Okay thanks!
But I have two last general question I canā€™t really find answer to them:
How much should it cost aprox ?
Can it be over a 6-month treatment, thats what scares me the most cause i heard there are scares that stays on the skin during treatements ?

The way Iā€™ve found most electrologists to work is this:

A) provide an estimated time to clear the area

B) provide a plan for how that time will be split up (if you need 2 hours for a first clearance it could be done in a marathon single session or in 30 minute sessions every other week for 2 months)

C)they will likely tell you what they charge by the half hour, Iā€™ve found people from $25 to $55 per 30 minutes in my area. then you can do the multiplication of total cost, realizing that you might want to build some in for ā€œmaintenanceā€ when your hormones decide they want to create some new follicles.

thereā€™s lots of information on pigmentation and scarring on here. Iā€™m worried about it too, but hearing how often itā€™s temporary gives me hope that the end result is worth it. you should also get a patch test done at your consultation.

Patch TEST ?

A sample treatment, 5-15 minutes long.

I only use the word ā€œtestā€ because youā€™ll be able to see how your skin does. My sample/test areas were my obvious chin hairs and a small area in my sideburns. All hair treated was gone upon treatment. So far I have 2 whitheads that turned into dark spots, i suspect they are temporary. to me, thatā€™s worth the hairless outcome.

ā€œhow your hair doesā€ - what do you mean ?
But they can be seen ? like are they significants ?
also on an area like the uper-cheek isnā€™t problematic to have dark spots?
by the way At what age did you start the treatment ?

not how your hair does, how your skin does. If youā€™re worried about pigmentation and scabs, at some point you just have to see how it goes! yes, itā€™s a risk, thatā€™s why you donā€™t start with 6 hours of treatment on your entire face. theyā€™re not psychic, they can assert based on experience how you might react, but like the best surgeon in the world treating cancer, they donā€™t know for 100% sure.

I donā€™t love the dark spots, but I hate hair more. The spots can be easily covered for now with a tinted moisturizer (after a few days post-treatment) until they go away. I think it was either Dee or Seana on here who reminded me that no one looks at my face as closely as I do. Smile more and thatā€™s what people notice.

Oh so they are temporary so its not that bad right ?
Also the ā€œtestā€ treatment, can tell if my skin will be ā€˜alrightā€™ during the treatment ?

see you more hair removal with Electrolysisā€¦

More?

Will the skin smoothness will change after the treatments?
2.
How much clearances do I need until hair is gone (both side)?
3.
How much should be the cost of hair removal of this areas (both side) ?

I am unable to get a clear view of the area but suggest that you seek referrals for your locality. It should take 3 to six clearances with 3 months between clearances ( this will depend on the individual skill level of the operator ) and allow for all of the hairs to surface. Each clearance will reduce in time, the first takes the longest. This is an ideal scenario, if the client can fully co operate with this schedule. Sometimes they may require a short session for social reasons that can alter the overall number of visits, but not the number of clearances. If you give your location, someone may be able to advise on local pricing. Having test treatments will ensure that you choose a great practitioner.

Here are some question:
Between the three month will I have hair on those regions?
If NO why is can treatments may be done more ofently?
Also is there a possible chance that after an elcrolisys treatment hair would regrow?
Can a treatment fail?
Are there any risks? Cancer? Genetic?
Please if you guys can also respond to thos questions Iā€™ll be thanksfull

Please help me guys ā€¦

Hi hairylife1.

Remember that before your first treatment, you canā€™t touch the area for quite some time, to ensure that as many hairs as possible are available for your electrologist to treat. This means nothing which pulls the hair out by the root (epilation, waxing), and no shaving.

After growing the hair out for a few months, you will have hours of treatment to receive your first clearance. If you do a marathon session, depending on the area and density of hairs, it will take a few hours to a few days.

After this first treatment, you will allow the hair to grow in the same way as before. Wait however many months your practitioner asks, or until there is enough hair to be treated. Go in for your second marathon session. This means that between the first and second treatment, you WILL have hair growing.

Repeat this until all hairs in the area are treated.

It is possible for these areas to have hair grow in the future, as some of these hair follicles may have been dormant during the time of the treatment, and become active at a later date.
It is also possible for incorrect methods to leave hair follicles which have been treated, still producing hairs, either in a weakened state, or if they have not had any damage at all, to their normal level.
