Hi hairylife1.

Remember that before your first treatment, you can’t touch the area for quite some time, to ensure that as many hairs as possible are available for your electrologist to treat. This means nothing which pulls the hair out by the root (epilation, waxing), and no shaving.

After growing the hair out for a few months, you will have hours of treatment to receive your first clearance. If you do a marathon session, depending on the area and density of hairs, it will take a few hours to a few days.

After this first treatment, you will allow the hair to grow in the same way as before. Wait however many months your practitioner asks, or until there is enough hair to be treated. Go in for your second marathon session. This means that between the first and second treatment, you WILL have hair growing.

Repeat this until all hairs in the area are treated.

It is possible for these areas to have hair grow in the future, as some of these hair follicles may have been dormant during the time of the treatment, and become active at a later date.
It is also possible for incorrect methods to leave hair follicles which have been treated, still producing hairs, either in a weakened state, or if they have not had any damage at all, to their normal level.

Thanks but I have right now quite many hairs on the uper-cheeks and I am not touching them, do you think the treatment can be done right now?
2.Also after the first clearance the hair will re-grow right away or after 3-4 weeks?
3.Will I see a dramatic contrast between BEFORE treatment and FIRST treatment ?
4. My skin won’t change (marks,color,wound) during and after the treatment ?

1. yes
2. if you do a marathon, all hair is gone. a week or two later some hairs that weren’t visible at the time might show up. no hair should technically “re-grow,” as she said, the second “marathon” would be to do all the stuff that wasn’t visible the first time, it’s not [supposed to be] the same hair follicles.
3. yes before the treatment you will have hair, after a marathon almost all visible hair is gone.
4. Yes, you probably WILL get marks, color and “wounds” during the treatment of a face. most should be temporary (as in <1yr)

   1.After elcrolysis first treatment on black hair, after how long will they re-grow?
5. Marks are really visible ? black/red ? are they disturbing ?
6. So do you think to marathon on 3-4 month and I am done ?

You are panicking over nothing. Your questions have already been answered. Go and get a consultation and a sample treatment; it’s the only way you will put your mind to rest.
