Diary of a European guy.

As a registered member of the British Institute of Electrolysis with over 20 years of experience, I can tell you nothing about Josefa’s photos has been enhanced. I have never met Josefa however I have had the pleasure of working on one of her clients and her work is as stated in the photos. Frustratingly this should be the industry standard, Josefa along with Dee, Mike etc are putting a lot of effort and time teaching and helping their fellow electrologists. I hope you are able to see the amazing benefits of good electrolysis. Good luck.

Thing is, nobody is safe from my “prickly” personality; not even ME!

I was thinking about the Romanian guy’s post while trying, this morning, to avoid a few swimmers doing the back-stroke (with sharp nails). I think I understand something here … so, here goes. (Of course this is not directed toward anyone, especially my Numbero Uno Jossie.)

I’ve been posting like a banshee here on Hairtell, but there is one element completely missing (and will STAY missing if I have my way). That’s “endorsements” or “love letters” from my patients. YUCK!

Yeah, a few times a patient here and there WANTS to post some silly statement on Hairtell and I always tell them, “Please, for God’s sake, don’t do that ‘to me’.” It’s enough that patients let me post their photos to show “the good the bad and the ugly” of electrolysis. (Yes, I LOVE showing SCABS and blood & bruises and hyperpigmentation … YEAH!)

I tell my clients to just get the work done and then never think about the damned electrolysis again. “Go thee forth into the ‘land of the hairless,’ and don’t look back!” (You know the “pillar of salt” thing?)

To me “endorsements” never look real. Maybe they are real, but I was not raised with compliments, and a compliments always feel like sarcasm … or “over the top” BS. I don’t like it!

A couple times, when the Norge-guy and Jossie were “texting” back and forth, I though … Oh gosh, I need a shot of insulin, this is too much. But then, any kind of “gushing compliment” or endorsement doesn’t work for me. (I don’t have any endorsements on my website either.) BTW, “self-endorsement” or “chest thumping” is like from another planet for me.

What we need to do is just tell the unvarnished truth about electrology and let the patient decide on the best treatment based on the facts we provide.

Everyone, i am really sorry now for making that accusations, - i discovered mrs Reina FB account and found that she really has people treated.

so nevermind what i said, it was just adisplay of my ugly character and poor belief.

continue with her, or with anyone, because - simply because you really have no other better option. you really dont.

I 'm a Dee Dee come lately, but have just now been able to carefully peruse the new stuff on this thread.

My first reaction : Good Shepard save this land!

I would like to add my strong condemnation to such callous accusations against a very talented electrologist that teaches, reassures and puts her own family and physical well being on hold to do magnificent work that is a technical feat that is on par with creating one of the original seven wonders of the world:

The Colossus of Rhodes
The Great Pyramid of Giza
The Hanging Gardens of Babylon
The Lighthouse of Alexandria
The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
The Statue of Zeus at Olympia
The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus

I would add Josefa to this list if I could. She is as real (and so are her pictures documenting her work) as any wonder of the world . I know what one may see here is hard to believe, but I would put my life on the line to confirm that Josefa is the real deal.

Jossie, my dear, good friend from far away, many of us are livid by such accusations, ESPECIALLY, when there are many posts from satisfied clients from all over Europe and beyond, over a long span of time.

Jossie, your goodness and generosity can never be impugned. You are too special and you are very talented. You must be thinking why do I go through swollen ankles, stiff hands and backaches to endure crap like this?

The saying, “The darkest hour is just before dawn” fits for this event. Hairyeuropeanguy has apologized and that is always a welcomed action on anybody’s part. Asking forgiveness kind of seals the deal.

Sometimes it’s not very fun to be here as a major contributer when people go on the attack. Sucker punching has become sport here as of late, but that happens. We all love you! We love your work! We love that you share your pictures and videos with us! We love your strength and grace! We love you and love will always be more powerful than hate, negativity and innuendo.

I think it’s time to check how things go with this guy . The results in chest, stomach , and belly have remained constant over the past year . When he started he was about to turn 21 years old, a very young age to have all developed hairs on the front of the upper body . However, it was. Probably the fine hairs on the edges of the abdomen and stomach would had become thicker hairs , but as everything was removed we were preventing this from happening. It is a prevention strategy that works very well in women face with racial or hormonal problems.

The shoulders are still developing new terminal hairs , but we knew it would happen and we will work to fix it. The next target will be the front of the neck. Here a couple of photos taken this past week . I know he has really enjoyed the beach this past summer. That pretty tan is strong evidence to prove it.

Hey Josefa what does it mean to have “all developed hairs”? Does that mean all possible hairs in a given area are growing? How does an electrologist determine if that is the case?
Thanks.

that’s an amazingly good job

I just re-read this post from Michael. This was after the episode with the Romanian boy. And it’s funny, when the Norwegian guy told me he wanted to write his own diary in Hairtell, it seemed a good idea. He got rid of the hairs thanks to The Dairy of an European guy, so he thought his diary could help others to discover the infallibility of Electrolysis. I asked him not to mention my name, just the facts as they were happening. He ignored me (I must be the electrologist with less authority in the world). Here are his own words to prove it written in the first post of the Dairy of the a Scandinavian guy: “I know she didn’t want me to write about her in this thread, but I can’t help not to.

So sorry if this exchange of affectionate greetings have been too much for some people.

Moreover, in this thread I’ve never tried to hide the ugly part of the process. These photos prove it:

Michael, I defend the freedom of expression of the individual provided that this does not constitute harm or injustice to others. That’s the reason I went back to put the Romanian boy words. Unfounded or not, his suspicions were real and legitimate, so here they are. I’ve never looked for the compliments, but I did not expect these absurd accusations which I tried to clarify by asking Andrea check the IPs of all the comments by my clients from Hairtell. No luck. She must be busy with more important things.

One of the regular users in Hairtell is Mr. Roy, the manufacturer of the Laurier IBP. If I remember correctly, when one of my customers Miro was here last time, I offered him some samples of these probes because DIY work. Soon after, he told me that Mike Roy had sent him a package of probes to Slovakia. If I were posing as Miro, How I can I be in two countries at once?

Indeed, this is what it means. All hairs susceptible to change from hair type “Vellus” to hair type “terminal or intermediate”. We know this will happen based on several factors:
Observation of the growth pattern in males of their closest relatives.
Because the client’s age.
Studies and findings from experts in Trichology.
Observation of the area, where you can see some hairs starting to stand out from the others.

Seana, thank you!

Hi Josefa, just letting you know I replied to your PM - I hadn’t logged in here in a while but just saw it last week and replied. Would be great if you can read it  Thank you!

Josefa, I replied to your PM as well. Would love to hear from you.

Much love.

Hi, Josefa!

I’m sorry to bother you again but I am not sure if you received my PM. I would like to know if you asked your client about a recommended electrologyst in Portugal.

Thank you for your time!

Sorry for the delay, Lyrical. My client answered my email and said that the electrologist who did a good job in his mother had retired. I wish I had better news for you. :frowning:

Oh I see. Thank you anyways. I have an appointment in a place on the 26th, let’s see how that goes. I also have another place in mind. They give training in electrology so at least that’s something to go by.

Thank you for your time!

OK guys , this will be an important post i hope -

I was wrong about Mrs and Electro in general - it Does deliver results - and I would say they are PRETTY BIG - so go out there and find an electro for your chest, back, or any other area with too much hair - it WILL deliver results!

I will come back with some extension of what i say now, in the coming weekes I hope , but until then many excuses to Mrs Joesepha, many thanks to all the people posting here especially M Bono, and to all of you : Go out and make some electro!

As far as I’m concerned, you 're more than forgiven .

Perhaps it’s my turn to ask excuses. You made a big mistake and a great injustice accusing me of wanting to attract customers by, let’s say, nasty tricks. I am probably one of the most intolerant and activists with those colleagues who are not providing the expected results. Did you know what is the pseudonym with which some of us are known in private? " Pluck police", I need not explain why, but I will anyway. Because we alerted the public that if you notice any kind of traction, the follicle is not being properly treated. Frankly, my dear, I do not give a damn.
But as I was saying , you got the wrong person , but you were right about your warning. Beware of those who sell smoke, wrapped up in a captivating personality. Do not pay for marathon sessions until you do not have a guarantee of results.

So my apologies to you, hairyeuropeanguy. And I am delighted that things are working for you.

You really don’t have to make apologies because I was the ONLY one that made the mistake. Probably too nervous that I was waisting my money and hopes on something in vain - and did not have the patience to wait enough to see the results.

Yes, the results are now clear, 7 months from my first sessions, and I plan to make my own Diary of the Romanian Guy - in order not to bother in Your thread - but I had to say this so that your clients see I made a mistake.

Yes , results are real, so guys give Mrs Josepha here or any other electro on this site, in your area, a try, it will … change your life, a little bit, or a big bit.

See you soon with a more detailed journal, i kept track of settings, progress, etc.

Hi Josefa,

My electrologist frequently ‘plucks’ the hairs. Which is to say, I often feel the electrologist ‘tugging’ at each hair.

If it doesn’t come out, they zap the hair and then attempt to pluck it again.

A lot of my hairs go through this pattern, with the constant tugging sensation.

Should I bring this up with them the next time I schedule an appointment? I feel nervous about this issue, since there’s only so much one can do if the electrologist is doing something wrong (or maybe the plucking/tugging sensation is normal?).

I don’t know how I should handle this (other than stop getting treatments and looking for a different electrologist).

You should say that you think you feel tugging and let her respond. No big deal, just say it!

I’m guessing that you are probably making your electrologist nervous. She see’s how your skin reacts (hyperpigmentation) and is trying not to over stimulate those melanocytes, thus the traction. This is challenging for both of you.
