Anyone reccommend a Manhattan Laser Center?

It is interesting that you are signing in to the Forum to " find out " about laser centers in New York, yet , you have " met " one of my past technicians in Brooklyn who told you about someone having a heart attack ??? Who is creating the DRAMA ??

Regarding Laser Centers other than us, I would suggest you try following:

Smooth Synergy
Metamorphosis Laser Hair Removal
Advance Dermalaser

They have been in business for many years and can take care of your needs, in case you are interested in getting treated.

I agree with Romeo; Romeo’s place is the best. I suggest that everyone goes there. It is the best and only place that one should get treated at. Everyone else is garbage. Thanks. :wink:

Romeo, laser cosmetica isn’t bad. stop bashing them . Yes, we will promote you on this site, but you cannot say that cosmetica is bad. They do much more business than you. Let’s be fair, Romeo.

Have you had LHR treatmets at R & J’s?

I did. I would share my experience (some good some bad), but Romeo takes very hard to criticism. To be honest, I did not have a bad experience, but the experience was mixed (again, some good and some bad). Problem with Chris is that he thinks that anyone that criticizes his place is a fake or fraud. I prefer therefore not to share the bad on this forum, and simply share the good (which is not that dishonest since there was some good at his place).

If you would like to know the not-so-good, I would share offline. Again, prefer not to irritate anyone on this forum.

If you ever were a client of Romeo & Juliette, you would have known that if a customer has issues, they can contact me anytime to resolve them. Customer satisfaction is our #1 priority.
Of course, in 8 years of Business, we have had issues but we have resolved them to our customers satisfaction. If you did not contact me, I could not help you.

Your postings, the language you are writing " all others are garbage, etc " is not typical of a Romeo & Juliette customer. If you are a customer and you suddenly decided to log in a few days ago as a first time poster, to reply to a first time poster who posted a few hours ago, that would make me and everyone else very suspicious.

To talk about Laser Cosmetica doing more business than us and to say that I am bashing Laser Cosmetica is DEFINITELY NOT something a customer would write. I have the highest respect for REAL COMPETITORS and the LOWEST RESPECT for so called " up and coming " centers that think they are in the same league without even proving themselves and concentrating on just badmouthing competitors.

First of all, as head of many local Associations, I am in constant touch with all the major laser companies in New York City, including Laser Cosmetica, American Laser, Lite Touch. We have monthly meetings and we discuss everything, including these type of postings on various sites that are untrue and defamatory in nature.

We are always open to criticism. However, I repeat, we do take slanderous accusations seriously. This has happened in the past and if you read all the previous postings, you will see the general pattern and the outcome. As you get more experienced, you may learn something and adjust accordingly.

To hide behind the internet and share " so called " experiences offline, again is not typical of a legitimate laser hair removal client. What I share with everyone are facts and I will be sharing much more very soon.

Why don’t you send me a PM with all your issues and I will bring them out in public onto this Forum, without any prejudice.

By the way, how do you know that Assara has more than one location ??? Do you want to share anything with us ??? You are following Romeo & Juliette, as well as the industry very closely…

Romeo, My experience at your place was NOT terrible; my experience was mixed. In fact, I would say that my experience was relatively positive. So please don’t contort my posting. I also did not “bash” your place. All I said was Laser Cosmetica is a great company and if there is anything negative you have to say about it, that’s fine, but please provide facts.

I left your place as a customer for 2 reasons, but again, I will not share these in an open forum, because you will reply that your place is the “best” and will then say that if I was a “real” customer, I wouldn’t have any complaints.

As I promised Dee, I will share my experience with Dee offline, so as not to frustrate or annoy you. These forums were not set up to annoy or frustrate others, and I am not about to change this.
If you too would like to discuss offline, I am open to that, but only if you promise to listen. I am not going to spend my time trying to prove that I was a customer. If you are genuinely interested in knowing my concerns, pls let me know. If you are not, that is fine too. Your place will do fine without my input.

May I suggest that you, jessica500, contact Chris and have a face to face meeting with each other. Then, if you desire, the two of you could come back to this thread and jointly make a comment.

This may all be an innocent misunderstanding. I do know that business owners do not take kindly to anyone that is out to sabatoge their hard earned reputation and business (livihood) and that seems to be the thing that Chris is fighting here. What makes it worse is if another business is trying to gain clients by bashing a successful business that has been around for eight years.

You appear to be an individual that had a positive and negative experience with R & J. If that is the case, then take it to the business and not an open forum where it can be resolved. I don’t know you Chris, but as I said before, I have followed this forum and others for a long time and you seem to be a reasonable guy that listens to your clients and will do whatever you can to make things right. So, Jess, you may want to take this in another direction and contact Chris personally. Is this something you would consider?

qbcmtr, I ended up purchasing a package from Laser Cosmetica this weekend. I went in with a friend bc she had an ad that was a promotion for buy one get one for your friend free. It was a summer promotion they had and they honored it for us. They do actually have the alexandrite, not sure the make, but they verified it for me. After reading some of the responses, just now, I feel very comfortable with my decision, seems like some people are paranoid with a guilty conscience.

First of all, I have never said that Laser Cosmetica is bad. In fact, the owner, Ryan is a good friend of mine. Lhaddict, I am glad you bought a package at Laser Cosmetica. Their pricing is quite economical.

As I have mentioned on my previous postings, of course, we can not please all. However, if a customer is not happy, then we are not happy.

I would love to hear about your experiences, both positive as well as negative. You can send me a PM or if you wish, post on the Forum. We can then follow Dess’s advise, if you wish.

I went to Assara and Litetouch yesterday, nice centers and staff, Assara’s unlimited program, not sure how it works, seems economically priced and Litetouch gave me the best package pricing so far.

The buy one get one free seems like a great deal if they can still honor it. I am going to call them because then I can get my friend and I to do packages together.

As one who has not been spared character assassinations, I must say that it strikes me odd that one would state that one was a customer of a business, left for two specific reasons, but won’t say what, even while saying that one had an overall positive experience.

What is the point of even saying something like that? People tend to fill in the blanks with wild speculations.

Either the problem was big enough to merit discontinuance of an otherwise good thing, in which case it would merit stating alongside the statement that one stopped going, OR it was not large enough to merit breaking the professional relationship, and therefore requires no statement, and in that case, one doesn’t say “I had 2 problems” one says, “I started going to this other place, which fit in to my lifestyle, or personal schedule better.”

For instance, I have had repeated problems with Prestige Electrolysis Supply, and have stated exactly what those problems were. I have talked to the company, including the president of the company, and everyone agrees that all sides have stated their point of view. Some have said that they have cleaned up their act recently, and I leave it at "My expereince leaves me in the “Cash & Carry or Nothing” mode, even as my bad experience has me less inclined to do business with them even in person, because they just should have made good on any of their previous mis-shipments.

My point is, my complaint was very specific, and left little to the imagination. It also leaves open to the company the option of sending me the items I paid for and never got, or refunding me the money I paid them, without benefit of receiving what I paid for.

I would think that if one needed redress, one would pursue it, especially when the business is soliciting your input.

It is dodgy that all these people appeared all of a sudden and have ONLY posted in this one thread. How often is it here that we find three new posters from the same city in one day?

Romeo, Maybe if you would ask your staff to give you my messages? Treat your customers nicely and you will get positive reviews. Treat them poorly and you will get poor reviews. You should know this. And, no, I did not stop coming to your clinic simply because your girlfriend (now wife?)started working there. Yes, service deteriorated at that point, but I still want my refund. Please return my call or just provide me a credit. Thank you.
