A miracle?

This reminds me of my glory days when dancers would schedule appointments to have their leg and bikini hairs removed just hours prior to hitting the stage. They all swore that no one noticed any hint of that day’s treatment by the time they hit the stage. Maybe being under the colored lights was the difference.

I can guess the color of these lights. Red lights?

When one is on stage, there are many colors, but, yes, red was certainly prominent among them.

I definitely wasn’t expecting her to be super fast, since she is a student and not a pro yet. For the money I paid it was a bargain. I will be seeing her again on Thursday. Hopefully we can go a lot longer this time. I have no problem sitting there for hours if it means my legs would be hair free. I did feel plucking a lot. I’m not sure how to bring it up during treatment, since she was talking the whole time. I didn’t want to be rude and just interrupt her. I don’t mind the fact that my legs are red for a while. It happens with my stomach and face as well, it usually goes away in two weeks. I did put tea tree oil on it though. Anyway thanks for all the advice, I know I can be impatient. I started getting electrolysis on my stomach last summer, and only now I’m seeing the results I’ve been longing for all this time. So I know my legs will definitely take longer than that.

Keep in mind that it would take at least 9 to 12 months for you to see no hair returning in any treatment area.

Roma,

What is a year to eighteen months out of your whole life ahead? Your trunk area results should make you even more hopeful about your legs. It’s coming your way, so look positively toward the future. Just say, excuse me, I feel like I;m being tweezed alive! She’ll make an adjustment and then start talking again.

today I went in for a consulation with a medical spa that uses Gentlemax. My last treatment on bikini was april 20 with a dermatologist . we did Two tests on my bikini line today , since I have to wait till Aug 5th, i thought i should do a test with the YAG , and ALEX… So these are the settings that she wrote down for me, can’t really read her handwritting so please correct me if im wrong …
Alex- 18 mm, 3 pulsed, 16 jules right side
YAG-18,3,1640/30. left side

another thing i should add is that i see alittle bit of hypo and hyperpigmentation on this area, should I be concerned? will it fade with time? it doesn’t really bother me, as long as i know it will fade eventually and arent permanent.

Are you seeing pigmentation on the area treated with alex? Those are good settings, but if they’re causing this issue, they’re too high for your skin tone. Pigmentation usually goes away with time, but can also take a while. It is also a sign that you can get a burn at those settings or slightly higher ones. You shouldn’t treat at those settings if you see this side effect.

I’m not understanding the 1640/30 part. I’m assuming you mean 18mm and 3ms for the Yag, but not sure on the joules.

I had the bikini area done again last wednesday and Im already seeing shedding! this was my third treatment i think i want to continue with electrolysis from this point, my question is how long should i wait before seeing an electrologist for my bikini line? I like to get the thighs done too, in general should i go in weekly? like im doing for my face?

I think the settings are alittle to high m because the skin there has turned dark abit.

I would wait 2-3 months first to see how much reduction you actually achieved. Then start electrolysis. Timing should just include coming in often for long periods in the beginning to get to your clearance. Then come in to kill new hair as soon as it pops up.

So I’ve decided to go ahead with another laser treatment for a full Brazilian tomorrow morning. This will be my 4th treatment. I have to note that I did go for a touch up after the third treatment because there were a lot of missed spots. The hair reduction is I would say about 25 % t0 30 % so far… Does that sound right? Should they up the setting? Or should I stick with the same setting?? This is definitely my last laser treatment. I’m going with electrolysis afterwards. By the way has anyone done a full Brazilian with an electrologist?

Yes Roma, often, the pubic region is one of that more we work.

Search around, there are many of us (men and women) who have done electro or are in process still. For me, I would argue that it has taken many hours, but is still far more effective than my various LHR treatments which failed to reduce my hair at all. Good luck - you should see some good results…

I have done many Permanent Manscaping, and full clearances in that area. It is the same as any other, the key is to get full clearance as soon as possible, and keep on schedule after that.
