Would it be wise?

I was wondering if it would be wise to just get full clearances on areas that I want to be treated with electrolysis. The problem is I want to clear my back (full), stomach (full) including chest area. I’m already started on the face.
Is this shooting for the stars, and if full clearance isn’t possible, is a good thinning at least possible if I chose to go in for a marathon of 12 hrs spaced out within the week? 3 hrs one day, 3 hrs the next, etc.

I just think it would help reduce the hair faster, than only going in for weekly sessions.
Am I wrong or mistaken, but this is what I seem to understand when doing electrolysis, that it’s better to clear the area and maintenance becomes easier.

Given the choice, I would do the estimated 12-15 hours I need to reach full clearance within a few days, too! I think some electrologists hesitate to do so because of the difficulty some people have staying comfy that long- and more importantly the possibility of the skin having a very adverse, negative reaction.

Ya I can imagine the irritation that can occur. But I’ve had marathons on the face, and yes initially it looks like you’ve been stabbed with little pins. But after a day the swelling goes down, and the scabs slowly go away. It’s worth it to me not to have the hair. But also find someone who is willing, and skilled to perform.

I think it would be best to have it done, I’m just looking to find the right person. I hope I’ll be able to crosses fingers
But if anyone has had it done, please share your experiences =)

I am dismayed that many electrologists will not do more than hour for reasons ranging from it’s hard for them to sit and work that long to they are afraid of doing damage. Full clearance is the domain of the best thermolysis modes. The physical part can be of chiropractic proportions for those with poor visual aid choices, epilator choice and furniture choice. So, if the set up is poor, one cannot perform well for appointments ranging from 1-6 hours. I like to be given permission for full clearance requests. Full clearance means treating all bothersome hairs. It does not mean treating every hair in an area. Some of those blondies really do look nice on a woman’s face and are of no consequence to me or anyone looking at you at conversation distance.

Dee

I agree with Dee, again. I’m just in favor of removing all possible hairs in areas that will suffer a future stimulation. First row in the contour of the mammary areola by example. It is virtually certain to be an increase in the thickness of hair. By contrast, arms rarely experience it once reached 25 years of age.

I have some clients with very thick black hair that would kill me if I tried the few blond hairs. For others however must treat everyone and not to escape any blonde hair, put the leg or arm to the light to see if indeed it has not been any.

NOTE: The cases included in that study were an exception to the rigor of science demands. One need not be so drastic.
