i just had my 6th treatment on my face. above the beard. maybe she went too close to my eyes this time but it looked normal right after treatment. i think she used the highest settings yet so maybe that’s why it’s swollen. it wasn’t like this before.

the swelling has gone up though and now it’s right under my eyes. its even impairing my vision in certain angles. for a sec i was scared that my eyesight was damaged but i can still see perfectly i think.

is this kind of swelling normal and does it go away soon? thanks.

just wanted to know if anybody else has had swelling persist after laser after a day and a half? my lower eyelids are still significantly swollen now.

Did you contact the laser facility? You need to let them know what is happening now so THEY can guide you. Did you wear protective goggles duing your treatment? Can you submit some pictures for curiosity sake?

NEVER leave ANYTHING with your eyes unattended. Go to the hospital !!

Yes I wore protection like before, proper ones. They have like a double layer, a small one that covers the eyes and another over it for the eyelids.

I think it swelled up more than last times because of the higher settings. it’s just weird that the swelling went up to the lower eyelids even though i wasn’t lasered there. there is no pain and my vision is fine. it just freaks me out.

I’m gonna go over there tommorow.

I appriciate your concern but thankfully it’s not that bad. unless it’s very uncommon to have swelling after laser lasting for 2 days I don’t know.

Well the technician told me that she upped the settings because the hairs were getting lighter, and that swolllen eyelids are common and assured me that no damage was done to my eyes.

Swelling is almost gone now but waking up after sleep seems to make it worse again. I’ll keep you all up to date.
