I am South Asian and had electrolysis on my cheek, and now have quite a bit of scabbing. Attached is a picture 1 day after the electrolysis session. Should I be worried? Will it heal or scar?

Scabs are larger than any of us would like to see. However, your treatment was in an area that almost always does not form post-treatment scars. Were I to see this much scabbing on the upper lip, however, I would have more concern. Your scabs are not contiguous … and, that’s another good sign. Over-all I think this will resolve nicely.

I agree with Mike and couldn’t have said it better. Please discuss this with your electrologist so she/he can change the recipe. No more treatments until this heals completely. Is this person trained that did electrolysis on you? It doesn’t look like professional work.
