Witch hazel astringent for aftercare

I’m wondering if witch hazel astringent is the ok for aftercare? I see a lot of you have mentioned it for good aftercare; I’m wondering if that’s what you meant? I have the Dickinson brand of witch hazel astringent.

I think I may have gotten over treated on my face once again so I’m very scabby and bumpy and want it to go away as fast as possible.

Thanks

Yes. The bottle often says “astringent”, and it is fine for using after treatment. Witch hazel IS an FDA labeled astringent - one of only three products labeled as such.

I would tell my client to use witch hazel, dab on tree tea oil at bedtime and then put aloe vera gel on top of the tea tree oil. this combination right after electrolysis works well for most that do it for three days at least. There are other protocols that are helpful, but I get good feedback from this plan all the time.
