Will taking extended breaks affect effectiveness?

Summer is approaching and I am concerned about sun exposure and LHR, due to much of what i have read , and as i tend to have strange reactions to sun, sunscreens on my skin.
I am considering having my next treatment ( #3 ) mid may and then taking a break during the hot sunny months of june, july, august, letting my skin go back to its pale state for sept and resume treatment in october and for winter months.
[font:Arial Black]Will taking extended breaks affect effectiveness of treatment ?[/font] Techs has said that once the hair is dead it is dead so I am figuring that as long as I shave and not wax during the break that it will be the same , or better than having a reaction from laser and sun exposure post treatment or having to use lower settings with skin that may have some degree of tan.

No

“Finally, the question as to how long to wait between treatments. This has been a controversial issue from day one of laser hair removal. The initial theory was 4 weeks so as to treat during early anagen. Our internal research showed different and this was later rebuked by some good targeted research. But the 4 to 8 weeks theory still continues, probably for economic reasons. We suggest 8 weeks minimum but I prefer 12-16 weeks. We suggest 8-12 weeks because some clients just don’t want to wait and so we felt that 8-12 weeks was a fair compromise. And even then, for some people and some sites, 8 weeks is not enough time for their hair to grow back and to thicken. We routinely have people come back if they are not ready to be treated at 8 weeks. My person opinion (after 300,000 treatments) is that the longer you wait between treatments, the better your results, up to a point. That point being somewhere around 6-8 months. So waiting won’t make your treatments less effective and in fact will make them better.”-sslhr
