Will Paradoxal hairgrowth clear by itself if untouched? And can it occur after electrolysis?

Hi all, so happy I found this place!

I am 35, have been doing laser on and of since my 20ies on my ladybeard. Sideburns cleared right away. But my ladybeard would come back in a few years so I would go back in and start all over again.

2023 I went back in for laser but went to the Splendor X instead of my usual Soprano ice. Biggest mistake ever! After 10 sessions (18 months) my sideburns are coming back, and since 3 weeks I have hairs in my face (I only had a few beardhairs down under my face not in my face) and so many vellus hairs are all dark in a range of 3-4 cm besides the place that is lasered. And my initial beardhairs are still here, thinner, but so more dense. My last laser session was 8 weeks ago. So the darker vellus hairs are still appearing (I am so confused they got stimulated after this last session, and not really before)

Stopped right away with the laser and choose to continue with electrolysis at least for my side and my beard. But I am reading so many horrorstories of people getting paradoxal hair after electrolysis? That should be practically impossible since the area is so specific and small right? I should not get 3 cm aside the hair that got electrolysed more hair like laser would right?

And If I do not touch the paradoxal hair in my face, just bleaching, it cant increase can it?

Also my butt is completely fucked up, looks like a malebutt to me. Hair went all over my cheecks and went down on the back of my upperleg.

I’m really curious where you’re seeing these horror stories of paradoxical growth due to electrolysis. I’ve never heard of this happening and never personally seen it. I have instead heard of laser, in some cases and in some treatment areas, causing paradoxical hypertrichosis.

You can be assured that electrolysis is the only FDA approved method for permanent hair removal. If you have a skilled electrologist working on you, the hair will permanently removed.

Electrolysis does not cause Paradoxal Growth. Only laser does. And no, if left untouched it will not improve. once the hair has beenstimulated it comes back the same forever unless it is killed.

Thank you for your reply, oh noo I thought that PH does clear up a bit but not all of it after a while if you remove stimuli, but it does take months up to years.

I have lots of clients with PH due to laser. First they spent money to get rid of sine hairs and now they have to spend a lot more money to get rid of their manlike beard :disappointed:
