yes and also the machines are expensive ($50k+), it’s a procedure that’s in high-demand, and everyone’s trying to make money. as long as enough people are willing to pay, the prices are going to stay. competition does drive them down in metropolitan areas. but in general, this is a cosmetic procedure, which is expected to be expensive because it’s not absolutely necessary (that’s why not covered by insurance)
