After laser hair removal, anytime I get goosebumps they hurt! For several weeks after treatment, until the hair has shed. Why is that? O_o
One can’t have goosbumps without the structures of the erector/arrector pili muscles being fully functional. All hair removal damages these structures to some degree.
Think of your former hairs as being melted plastic in your skin, waiting for shedding to remove them, and now the erector pili muscles are trying to move normally, but are pulling against a melted immovable mass, instead of a functioning follicle.
