Why didn't I feel much pain?

I went to a professional clinic, and she removed a hair on my arm for test using blend method. She said that it hurts a lot, but I almost didn’t feel anything. I told her that I didn’t feel much, she said that I was lucky.

I asked her what current she used, she said about 0,8 on Thermolysis and a little bit below 2 on current galvanic.

In my head, this level of intensity is very low, however I am not an expert. So my question is: did she use low intensity on purpose to do a sell and make me come back? Is that a trick professional electrologist use? OR am I lucky as she said?

To establish the ‘working point’, you have to set the Thermolysis (SWD) intensity to 0.4 and set the Galvanic intensity to 20 (If you use technique 1).

She was far below this intensity.

Btw, I just read Michael Bono’s short version book, and understand that sterex-method for establishing the working point is wrong, according to this book.
