Which should I chose? Syneron, LightSheer or?

Hello everyone!

I am new here and not a native speaker, so be kind :wink: First of all, I am quite pale with rather dark hair on my legs and pubic area.

Last monday I got an IPL treatment on my legs and tanga for the first time. I paid 2500 kr. for it. This was on the private hospital Nygart. This week I called and asked them which maschine they had used. I was treated with 14,9 joule and IPL Multiflex Ellipse.

But now I have done some research and I think I want “real” laser instead.

I have found a place (CosmoLaser) that has Syneron Emax with radiofrequency. They will give me the same treatment (legs + tanga) for 2500 too. Is this a laser or IPL?

I also found another place (Hair Away Lazer Center) that has a “real” laser - I asked them and they confirmed this. From their webpage I can see that it is a LightSheer Laser with a cooling tip. The nurse said it was a new model. Legs alone are 2500, but the legs are much more important to me than the tanga-area.

All places are close to me so which one should I chose for my next treatments if I want maximum hair removal that lasts?

I’m no expert on laser hair removal, just started very recently myself and cannot say anything about results so far.

However during my brief, but intensive, research I found out that the laser/machine itself does not make ALL the difference.

Actually, how skilled your skin therapist is with the laser/machine will probably have more effect on the results.

Thank you. Anyone else? Is 14,9 joules even enough to get a permanent result?
