Which electrolysis or laser DIY product to choose?

Hi,

I’ve been using epilators and wax to remove my hair for some years.
I’ve always had ingrowns but now it’s getting worse.
After 2/3 weeks of removing hair I get a lot of bumps and ingrowns, and my legs start looking very bad with lots of marks and bruises now.

I’ve decided to try the DIY permanent hair removal products but I’m completely lost of what to choose because I found a couple of products that seem to be scams.

My skin is white and my hair very dark. Any product/brand that you had good results with recommended?

have you read the stories of people who are doing this here? that would be most helpful. most people do electrolysis on themselves here, some using the one touch machine, some used electrolysis machines. it does take a lot of skill and practice, so you might want to take a course or 2 first, especially if you have never been to a professional electrologist and hadn’t seen it done. it’s also very time-consuming, so compare this to the other permanent options in terms of time and money and see if it’s worth it. legs for example are very easy to treat with laser and your skin and hair combo is good for it.

no home laser machines work. you can only do electrolysis at home, and that requires a lot of skill and practice as I said. laser can only be done at professional clinics. you can read the laser forum for more info on that.
