Hi everyone,
I recently had a test patch done at 12j 18mm Gentlelase, then had a full (brazilian) treatment at 14j, 3 weeks later. The shedding went pretty well, a few were reddish so obviously those ones didn’t.
The thing is now, at 10weeks, I still have no new growth except for where i had the test patch (approx 2 inches). Is it normal for that hair to grow back first? My understanding of hair growth cycles is that this should be new hair from another cycle, nothing to do with the hair just treated? Or does the new hair cycle start as soon as the previous one is interrupted if you know what I mean?

Please clarify for me, thanks :confused:

In the areas where you had shedding, yes, you are seeing the next cycle come through.

The test patch was first, so that area will have hairs come through first. So let’s say your test patch was 2 weeks before treatment, wait another 2 weeks and I’m sure the rest of the area will have growth come in.
