Hi- just went for my third treatment on thighs and see that the little black dots (hairs I assume) under my skin, are still there. When will these finally fall out? After how many treatments? I’m starting to think they’ll be there forever!
Those black dots could be tombstones (little pieces of burned hair)and can take awhile to shed. Don’t pick or dig them out, just lightly exfoliate your skin and given enough time your body will slough them off.
Mine usualy took a few weeks to dissappear.

They could last anywhere from 8-12 weeks, especially if you were with a Nd:YAG laser. They will fall out eventually, so don’t be discouraged.
