What to ask a potential new electrol.?

I know its probably in some FAQ somewhere but i cant find it :confused: My last electrol. lady seemed perfect, sounded very professional, said she cleaned everything reat, and ended up plucking sometimes. How do I avoid that, and ask questions to make sure the person is safe and everything?
