What skin type am I?

I’ve pulled this from the FAQ and can’t figure out which skin type I am, as I seem to be both?

[i]TYPE I: Highly sensitive, always burns, never tans.
Example: Red hair with freckles or Albino

TYPE II: Very sun sensitive, burns easily, tans minimally.
Example: Fair-skinned, fair-haired Caucasians [/i]

I would say I am a Type II… very sun sensitive, burns easily, tans minimally. I am fair-skinned, but not fair-haired… I have dark hair.

But then at the same time the skin on my legs is so white and translucent you could see the black hair follicles underneath my skin after shaving (before laser).

Does this mean I’m both a I and II?

I’m so used to burning when in the sun that I don’t even know if I can tan anymore lol. So that part makes me think I am a I.

Skin types are not exact. They’re approximate. They weren’t created for hair removal purposes. You’re probably between I and II.

I have dark hair as well, which makes it seem like I can’t be a type 1, but I think I am. My skin is translucent on my legs, and I can’t tan at all, just like you.

I would say you’re between the two, and in certain areas you are maybe a type 1.
