I was curious, the usual topical anesthetic & whatnot.
I use a prescription topical on most of my clients unless they ask me not to. I only have 2 clients that do not want any numbing cream. I only have had one client that bought Numbskin on her own and she loved it. A small percentage of my clients will buy the otc pain relief cream containg 4% lidocaine and put it on proir to their appointment. Numbskin can be bought online. It contains 10.56% lidocaine in it.
Work on the face only?
Yes, mostly.
Hi Mea and everyone else,
I’m newly qualified and looking to start setting something on my own.
I was wondering if you could help me with some advice.
You mentioned pain relief in a post.
In my training and later when practicing I was usually accompanied by a nurse who was injecting lidocaine regularly.
What is your approach to the patients who need stronger pain relief or don’t want the numbing cream?
How do you get hold of lidocaine?
