What needles can I use?

Hi there!

Just recently started doing electrolysis at home and all is going well, especially the almost zero pain I have experienced.

I am using the Clean & Easy machine and got it from Amazom.com. The problem I have is that I have already broken one needle and only have one left. I cannot order any more needles form Amazon because the company that supplies them does not ship to South Africa.

I can however, order electrolysis needles from a company close by. I think they supply the Sterex brand. Can I use these needles instead?

The product you describe is not designed to last, and most people find they can’t get replacement probes/needles, and if they can, they are much to expensive for what they are. I suggest you check out HairTell poster NoHair’s site http://www.geocities.com/hairfreethere/ and see what he set up to modify that unit to use the easier to get professional probes/needles like the sterex you mentioned. You may also find it easier to build, or have someone build what he describes on his site. Use of professional probes will also make your treatment experience better.
