What interval do you recommend if you have to travel far too find an electrologist?

I just had my first electrolysis appt while visiting my sister in the US, where my chin was cleared in an hour. I’d love to continue treatments, but I’m living in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and unable to find an electrologist here.

After some research, I realize I need to fly to Mexico City to continue treatments. My question is, how often should I aim to do that? Would every 6 weeks be ok? Or every month? I wouldn’t be able to do weekly, though that is the interval the US electrologist recommended.

If the electrologist can clear the chin at each visit, then every four or six weeks is totally fine. If you’re able to not shave the hair between treatments, you could leave it longer, but monthly treatments are a very reasonable approach. As long as the electrologist is clearing the area completely in these monthly treatments, you’ll be fine.
