What do you think about this reaction

Hello everyone,i have had electrolysis 15 days ago and i would like to know if it is normal to have little bumps and inflammations on my neck. i’m wondering if it is “instant regrowth” and maybe ingrown hair ? It is normal to have this kind of reaction at 2 weeks post treatments? ( i have scratched the skin a little, so it looks more red, but at the beginning it was like little bums.)

Does not look like anything directly related to electrolysis. Looks like excoriation from “scratching the area,” and the resulting edema and erythema. “No Touchy” the area, and maybe use a little hydrocortisone cream for a day or two.

Ok Michael, thank you for your answer i will apply a cream on it. I was also wondering something, when the electrologist remove the hair, i don’t feel any traction and the hair comes out with the white sheat around the stem.

My question is, when a hair is removed with no resistance and with this white sheat, is it a guarantee the hair has been killed forever ?

This would be very interesting to know as it would inform the consumer and the electrologist to know the quality of the treatment

You’re super welcome and I hope I was helpful.

The “no traction” and “white meat” is a VERY good sign. Still it is no absolute guarantee. There is a LOT to the “target area.”

Remember, either “the designer” or “Darwin” designed our hairs to be pulled-out and to GROW BACK … so, the biological game is stacked against us.

Sounds like you are getting good treatment!

that’s sound very good to me Michael thank you
