Hey everyone,
I read on the TSRoadmap site that most male beard removal takes about 200 - 300 hours of electrolysis. I’m assuming this is the middle of the bell curve, and is excluding any 40 hour or 700 hour outliers.
Is there a similar ballpark estimate for removing the sideburns, cheek, upper lip, chin hairs for a woman? I couldn’t find one on the forums, but perhaps I’m not searching enough…
Thanks!

Also, here’s another question I have:
I seem to have very short, very fine but nonetheless darkly pigmented hairs on my face. If I remove all of these, will my skin look oddly shiny? Or does everyone have small, pigment-less vellus hairs remaining? I’m hoping for the latter, as I don’t want to look unnatural.
Hi S&A:
I am thinking it will take a fraction of 200 hours to treat
your facial hair, but you would get a better estimate from
an electrologist who could actually see you in person.
As far as the vellus hair goes: they uually don’t remove them
unless they are longer or a bit thicker than normal.
I’ve had my facial hair treated to completion
and still have some very fine vellus hair left.
You are right about it being more natural looking to have some.

Hey Alicia,
Thanks for your response. Yeah, I’m definitely hoping it’s less than 100 (or even 75) hours. I could not handle more than that, financially speaking.
Also, I’ve asked my electrologist a few times about how long it will take to reach completion, and she tends to evade the question/avoid answering. It’s very frustrating! I think I’ve had about 16 hours now, and we’ve definitely accomplished clearing and moving back my hairline while also working on other areas (upper lip, chin, cheeks). Does this sound like a normal amount of time?
I’ll be glad to have the smaller vellus hairs left on my face. I can’t wait until that day!
Thanks,
