Weird weak anagen hair

So I had a hair grow in and thought it was normal (thick, quite “dry”). Anyway, I tugged on it and it just slipped out with minimal resistance and no pain.

It still had that clear sheath on it.

Here are some cool pictures: https://imgur.com/a/cF4gi

I was just wondering if there was a reason for it seeming to not be anchored at all?

I cant see the sheath in the picture. It may have just been an exogen hair.

Well, it can’t be an “exogen hair,” because there is no such thing. Exogen (meaning “exited growth,” sort of) is an empty follicle with nothing growing out of it.

potatoe potato.Lets just assume it’s exogen now…

I’ve never understood why people are so defensive and dismissive when they get something wrong. So, what’s the big deal?

Did we all come into this world with full knowledge of everything? No! We got everything wrong at first … so what?

The point is that there is no such thing as an “Exogen Hair!” Exogen follicle, yes … exogen HAIR … no such thing.

Looks like I’m about ready to get “pounced on” again.

Nope…no pouncing today…not feeling particularly defensive either.Just…stuff going on in my life has me fairly distracted.
