waxing the upper lip

I had my upper lip waxed about a week and a half ago. Now, I am already seeing the hairs again!! They are about 4 millimeters in lenght.
Is this normal??? I know that the regrowht is different for everyone, but it should at least be hairless for a week or two, not? Could it be that a lot of hairs were broken instead of being pulled out? (i used to bleach those hairs, so maybe they got really weak?)

If I need to get my lip waxed every two weeks I’ll be broke in no time!!

I’d be really happy if someone could help me with this!!

hair has a growth cycle. it grows and then it falls out while the new hair underneath grow out. Your problem could be that the new hair that have grown were in a different cycle to the ones you had waxed. the normal cycle is about 3-4 weeks.
You could ask your beautician or hopefully other members of this forum could explain how to overcome this problem and have all the hair grow in the same cycle.
