I’ve been doing electrolysis on my back for over a year. I’ve had great results. But because of a job change and not being able to find an electrologist to work around my schedule I am going to have to stop treatment for about 6 months. I still would want to remove the hair. And deff start back up when I go back to a easier schedule. My question is if I wax once a month till I start electrolysis again will I be making the hair grow back? Would I be setting myself back? Shaving isn’t an option. Thank you for any input
I guess you have to do what you have to do.
If you wax, the hair follicles that were disabled won’t come back.
When you are ready to re-start your electrolysis sessions, stop doing anything to the hair and just start removing hair as it emerges. If you can stop waxing 3-4 months before you re-start that would be a good plan.
No waxing while you are having electrolysis.
