Just wondering if anyone had any recipes for home made wax…i tried just melting pure bees wax but it just hardens when it becomes in contact with the skin …so i guess there must be more to it.
And after finding this site i realize there is a lot more to hair romoval

Sugaring is much easier to make at home, and you probably already have all the ingredients you need. There are a few recipes on that forum.
You can make wax for hair removal with beeswax or parafin, but you need to add rosin and glycerines to get the right stickiness and consistency. It takes a while to get the mixture right, so it’s usually easier just to buy a tub of the stuff than get the raw ingredients and do a lot of trial and error.
If you want to get fancy, you can skip the glycerine and resin and go for the cosmetic grade stuff, but that’s even harder to find:
Triethylene Glycol Hydrogenated Rosinate
Glyceryl Hydrogenated Rosinate
Methyl Hydrogenated Rosinate
