Want to buy this machine

There is a LHR machine on ebay

That I want to buy, Ive read up on it and it seems like it is a really good buy. I was reading the description and I think I will be needing extra parts to start hair removal. Can anyone tell me what I would need and where I could find it? Would this be a good machine to get?

This machine won’t get you any results. Don’t waste your money. Read the FAQs on laser below and run a search for the name of this machine on this forum for past conversations about it.

Sorry, but there is nothing proven so far that exists that can permanently remove hair like laser and electrolysis can, at home. We’d all be using it if it did.

This is incorrect and misleading:

  1. Laser has never been proven to be permanent, either at an office or in a home setting.

  2. Electrolysis is permanent, whether done in an office or at home. Any electrolyis machine can be purchased and used in the home setting. As long as others aren’t treated, it is perfectly fine. Hair can be cleared permanently, and all the benefits of electrolysis can be reaped as long as the operator has adequate lighting and vision. This is a fact.

I would want to qualify this further by saying that it is like home car repair. theoritically, it can be as good as taking the car to the shop… as long as the person doing it has prepared themselves with enough knowledge acquired enough skill, and has the right tools. Furthermore, the better the tools, the faster, and in many cases, the better the work will get done.

On the other hand, for many people, it is far less expensive to have a shop do the work, both in time and money (when one counts fixing the things one breaks, while trying to fix the thing one had a problem with to start with.)

Nice to see you back Mantaray. Sounds like you missed the controversy.

Once again, laser HAS been proven effective. We’ve been over this many times and I don’t plan to waste my time getting into it again. There are links to the studies in previous posts on this site as well as pages of conversations with you over the issue (we don’t need to start another one). The OP can run a search for both.

And, I personally have had clearance for almost two years now on several areas. I also have a clearance with electrolysis for over a year now on several areas. They are both permanent and I know that from personal experience, in addition to the studies (and electrolysis was never proven by official studies).

Of course, the difference between yours and my treatments is that I’ve been treated with good machines by experienced people in BOTH laser and electrolysis.
