Are you a laser specialist?
No, that’s why I’m asking.
Okay, well my impression regarding this is perhaps you are purchasing this as a pre-used device with the idea to work on yourself? I don’t know what the successful settings are and I’m thinking that the odds of anyone having this same device giving you successful settings probably won’t happen because they can’t see your skin and hair.
Yes, for myself and my wife.
Bought it new, price was about $3300.
Used it a couple of times, but nothing happened, no pain and no shedding of hair. The company that sold it to me than gave me access to the service meny so that I could increase the power even more, and now it is defenately working and the hairs are shedding after a couple of weeks. But I’m still a bit confused over the parameters, “pulse width”, “frequency” and “energy density”, and how much each of them has influence over the result?
Did you purchased this device from China?
Are you in the United States?
Lasers are very expensive to maintain and they are medical devices. I’m surprised you were able to buy this. Are you wearing eye protection? What is your and your wife’s Fitzpatrick skin type? There is a lot to know before you use a laser.
You will probably have to find a laser specialist where you live and befriend them to get answers.
Purchased from China to Norway. As far as I know there is only restrictions here for laser pointers stronger than 1mw, and nod not medical lasers.
I don’t think maintainance is very ecpencive? 4 litres of purified water each 3. month + new filter, about $15 I think.
Of course eye protection, and skin type is typical nordic, Fitzpatrick type 2.
Strange; I thought it was very common to buy these machines to save some on DIY.
You’re the first I ever hear of it.There are handheld lasers made for the home market, but they generally dont work.
