ive been having electrolyis on my upper arm with diathermy,1hr a week. Ive had 17 hours so far.she went over the same area twice,the first time was about 2-3 weeks ago.
i do have sensitive skin and she does have it on a low
setting but does this look correct?

The reaction seems normal to me, but in so many hours you done you have to much hair left - but its hard to say, I did not see your situation before electro…
Im doing the same areas - if you want to look - I had until now together 14 hours of thermolysis on neck, upper arms and shoulders. Began on 15.4.2011, the photos are done after my last treatment o 28.5.2011 - 6 hours:

How long has it been since your treatment? That look like a lot of reaction and redness.
Are you using good aftercare? Witch hazel during the day and tea tree oil at night?
It will be 6 days tomoz but the bottom of arm longer. If you zoom in you can see better. I’m using aloe Vera day and night.

It’s not what I would like for my clients. We are all different,though. It will heal.
I recommend witch hazel during the day and tea tree oil at night. They work the best in my opinion.
As long as the hair slides out without resistance during the treatment after being zapped, you should be good.
