Red weltlike bumps usually last a few hours to a day.
White pimple-like bumps are a reaction that can take a few days to clear up. Do not pop them. Use an astringent to cleanse them, or get some Tend Skin and use it on the area to clear them up more quickly.
Anyone with a special occasion coming up should not wax an area for the first time too close to the date. Have it done a few times a month or more in advance, just to make sure you can tolerate the procedure.
