Upper lip scab

Is this too much scab for upper lip ?

Pls is this overtreatment ??

I have never liked the outcome of scabbing on the face because it scares people. Clients think they are scarred for life, but from what I see on most pictures submitted here, they are not scarred. These are temporary. They will heal. Do not pick off the scabs or they may leave a scar.

I don’t know what the hair structures looked like before treatment? I am an electrologist that knows that this kind of outcome can be minimized, if not eliminated, by using a different energy level, a different probe, watching the skin, using good vision aids, good lighting, a different modality and most importantly, perfect insertions. If your electrologist is not amenable to changing something up, then too bad. Again, this scares people and it is my belief that we should at least try for a better outcome. Redness, swelling an occasional pinpoint scab or a few small white pustules should be expected, but if only redness and swelling occur, A-OKAY!

I like cold pressed organic refrigerated aloe vera gel applied immediately after treatment and for three days to calm and moisturize the skin, especially for my people of color.

Talk to your electrologist, politely and let them reassure and advise you.

You will be fine, but show your electrologist the picture.
