So, silliest question ever - but also, totally legitimate, too! I have been doing upper lip electrolysis every 2 weeks for about 6 months now tapering to every 3 or 4 weeks. Usually spends about 20 minutes on the upper lip and clears it. The woman I currently see for blend is amazing, and usually all that happens after is a few white heads in the following days, and maybe a tiny bit of inflammation in a spot or two for only the day after. I’ve come to find that my clinique 1.5% salycilic acid toner on the second night clears up any white heads and keeps me from developing any hyperpigmentation from inflammation or zits. If I get electrolysis done Tuesday afternoon, my face is usually back to normal by Thursday.
Now, I have a new partner and we are in the make-out stage, lol, and he’s got a beard and so there is friction that happens and I’m wondering if waiting 48 hours is enough to make out with him? Or will that cause issues in healing? If I slather my face with moisturizer before, would that be enough to help? And if not 48 hours, how long should I wait? Thank you
