Hi everyone
I finally did some research!
Here’s the 411:
-
Hietland machine, 6 years experience… when I asked if “blend” was gentler, told me that if there is a lot of hair then the “rule” is THERMOLYSIS… I didn’t quite understand what that was supposed to mean.
-
Sequentium machine, 5 years experience, super friendly over the phone!
3)Cleo Machine by Apilus, “shortwave” method( what in the world is that?) 30 years experience.
- FLASH method??? Apilus machine, ten years experience.
Now, my question is, what is the “flash method”? I thought there was galvanic, thermolysis and blend? is flash good for an upper lip on an East Indian skin tone? How about the “shortwave” with the Cleo machine?
So, what’s the verdict on the “best” machine?
Thank you all and I will keep everyone posted on my future appointments!
Ohhh, and get this! I was really taken aback by this, I felt as though it was quite an exaggeration! Place 2) said an average upper lip could be pretty much done in a month!
Honestly, you should get a sample treatment from all of the above. number 4 did not even tell you what Apilus machine she has, there are many. Although most people who say they have a Sequentium machine mean the ST-250, it could be a VMC for all we know.
Although certain machines are likely to be more comfortable than others, in the end, it is practitioner skill that counts.
Just get a sample treatment from them all and report back to us, and take the person with the best mix of comfort, speed, and skin result.
Shortwave is thermolysis. Flash is a faster type of thermolysis. Apilus is considered one of the best machines. Thermolysis is a lot faster than blend, that’s why the first comment.
It will come down to you getting sample treatments and judging their skill based on those.
is the Sequentium ST-250 better than the VMC?
I have planned for consultations for the middle of June!
Thanks to James and LaGirl for the quick responses!
The Sequentium VMC from Silhouet-Tone is the top of the line. It is multiple steps above the ST-250. I will echo checking everyone out and then considering epilators as part of the equation.
