Thanks so much for everyone’s advice and help. I really appreciate all of your time and feedback.
I am glad I posted pictures so you all could see what I am dealing with.
I will be optimistic and have faith in my electrlogist, who I do think is a great person.
Thanks for the other suggestions Seana, I appreciate it. However they’re a bit too far from me.
Thanks again, I will give this more time and will update everyone in a few months. Have a great day everyone!
I apologize for not answering these questions. I will answer them going backwards.
First of all, you are most welcome.
Second, yes, it will work if the practitioner is skilled and you feel no tugging.
Third, I can contact the person I am thinking of and ask her to read your posts. She has Synchro thermolysis, the modality I would use, and I could help her (if she felt she needed my input). Insulated probes and probe movement, along with proper energy levels will budge these hairs and hardly leave any hint that tissue damage has occurred below the skin’s surface and the surface of the skin will look like nothing at all has happened in the deeper part of the skin. All done very quick and slick.
Lastly, medications will not affect the hair that has already been stimulated. Nothing will reverse what you already have.
I feel the hairs sliding out usually with no resistance, but some I feel a tug. Would the tug be because of not enough energy or because the insertion was done incorrectly?
Doctors always want to put people on medicine, but if it won’t take the facial hair I have away then why would I bother.
I know it could prevent new hairs from growing, but right now my focus is getting rid of the hair I have.
Thanks for contacting her, I appreciate it.
I should still continue seeing my electrologist though, I mean any method will work on me right?
Synchro might be faster, but any method will do?
Yes, any method will work. It is about making accurate insertions using the right amount of energy, SKILLFULLY.
I mention Synchro thermolysis because it is fabulous technology for challenging hairs, or any hair structures! Galvanic electrolysis and Synchro thermolysis are like twin sisters, with the results they give, but one is ketchup slow and the other is machine gun fast.
Synchro whips thick hairs ass. It requires a “moving hand” and a variable depth technique that is quite quick and easy to master. GH101 I highly recommend you follow Dee’s advice and see a practitioner who is able to use this modality, the courseness of the hair works really well with Synchro and the hairs should glide out wet and with ZERO resistance or plucking sensation. It’s hands down my go to modality for course hairs.
