Unwanted hair - help/advice!

Hello everyone,

due to the forum, my problem is also about unwanted hair.
This problem started when I was 14 years old. Since then I was forced to give up many things in life, which made me personally unhappy in life. I’ve read a lot about electrolysis and I’d like to have a treatment with this method, since it’s the only real method, that ‘kills’ unwanted hair.

I have tried to contact some electrologists, but unfortunately none of them answered me. And this is why I’m trying it over this forum.

I’ve seen some professional electrologists like Michael Bono, but unfortunately he is too far away from me and I simply can’t afford it to fly over there as I’m a student. I already got in touch with a some local electrologists, but first of all they were too expensive (140 up to 160 EUR/h), and the most important point was that they were ‘money-oriented’ and not ‘human-oriented’. This is something I didn’t like, if you only do it because of the aspect money. I entrusted them with my problems, but it seemed like they didn’t really care. And this was a no-go for me.

So, do any of you have recommendation for me?
I’d appreciate any answer of you.

Of key importance for you is to find someone who regularly works on male body hair.

Do not accept the statement, “Oh, I do this all the time!” You want completed cases and you want to know how long, in actual hours, it took to complete the case.

I have been “kvetching” about this for decades, but skilled electrologists DO KNOW how long cases will take (I mean the money aspect). If they have been working for 5-years or longer, they have their own averages and should give these number to prospective patients. I do it without the patient asking.

Do not accept an “open” and non-specific estimate! If possible, have the electrologist get you in touch with a former (successful) patient so you can get first-hand information about the treatment. I do this all the time without the patient asking.

So far, nearly half my clients have spent WAY TOO MUCH on failed laser (or electrolysis) … and such a waste of money is not acceptable. (Nicely, a client in Australia … with my documentation … is getting his money back from a failed laser episode.) If you don’t get real results … get your $$$ back!

Point being … take GREAT care selecting the right electrologist. Yes, electrolysis works amazingly … totally permanent, for the rest of your life … guaranteed. However, skill levels in the field are not consistent and you can end up spending a small fortune for virtually nothing.

If you are in the EU … think SPAIN! I seem to know a true electrolysis wizard who lives in that country. And yes, you are probably going to have to travel. Sad, but true.

140 up to 160 €/hour? MADONNA MIA!!!

Being in your place, Michael would also have been my first choice. With only 10 hours of electrolysis with him you would be saving the cost of a ticket to California. Not to mention guaranteed results without the slightest pain. Wise choice!

Thanks to both of you.

Yes, I think so, too. I’m willing and logically prefer to travel to Spain since it’s in the EU and closer to me. But I don’t want to exclude California with respect to Michael Bono.
All I want is to have a normal life without hiding all the time.

@Sir Michael Bono:
how do I get in touch with you? I have some other questions, if that’s fine for you.

@Madame Josefa M. Reina:
I sent you a private message, if this is okay for you as well

Oh Jossie!

What’s the difference between Jossie and Bono? Well, thousands of miles; and one of them has real hair on her head! The other one is beginning to look like an old “Andy Warhol!”

Thanks sir!
I’d love to get in touch with her. And as I said, I’m willing to travel to Spain and meet her personally. At least, I’d be in good hands.
