Uniprobe AutoBlend Touch

hello,

the description for this machine says that it does thermolysis and blend. but it doesnt say anything about glavanic. what does it mean? how can you do blend without galvonic? isnt blend both galvanic and thermolysis? would this be a ok machine for all over body?

thankyou

It probably does. Before spending the money, I’d ask them or wait for someone here to verify it. I’d also see if anyone here has experience with the machine and see what they think of it.

They have the following line in their description:
“Total digital readout and accuracy - Blend, Thermolysis and single probe Electrolysis”

By single probe electrolysis, I assume they mean single needle galvanic (electrolysis, literally), and as opposed to multiple needle galvanic. It should be as easy as turning up the DC to whatever you need, and turning the HF to 0.

Yes, any “Blend Machine” would be able to do Galvanic by simply setting the Thermolysis down to zero, and adjusting the galvanic side of the blend treatment to suit the needs of the treatment being done.

That’s why we advise home users to buy a blend machine, as it will work with them all along their learning curve. While they are new, they can use galvanic, and then move up to blend when they are better at it, and then, maybe try thermolysis when they get really good at insertions and treatments in blend.

Which is exactly what I have done, thanks to James’ advice. I have gone from galvanic, to blend and am now using mostly thermolysis with great results. It is a true commitment and not for everyone; it took about 100 hours of work on myself to finally get that far but I am very happy. I wonder how long it will take before I am skilled enough to use microflash

It would have been a lot harder, or practically impossible without the help of James and the other pros here on Hairtell

thankyou for your help guys.

it is so difficult to find the right machine in my price range in australia. i have been looking for so long now and have been thinking about purchasing the uni probe from the u.k.

http://www.beautyexpress.co.uk/product-Uni-Probe-Auto-Blend-PQ300.htm

the problem is that they dont sell the machine with any acceseries. and so i will have to buy that separate which will add cost on top of postage and shipping.

ive been lookin on ebay nearly everyday aswell!! im gettin tired of looking so im now trying to find a reasonably priced new machine. and also a lot of people in the u.s. dont ship overseas which makes it extra difficult and with the exchange rate gone up between the u.s and australia, it has become really expensive to buy anything from the u.s anyway.

well anyway, im gona keep searching…

What is your price range?

my price range is upto $1,800.00 (AUD) maximum.

i really want a machine that is a small size and light weight, which is why i thought that uni probe touch would be a good machine for me.

i know that i have missed a really good sterex blend machine on ebay which went for $1,500 recently, im punching myself for that!!

Do you guys reckon the sterex blend machine is a good one? i found one in the u.k that will ship to australia :D. not cheap tho :frowning:

For home use, yes, it’s okay, if it does galvanic, blend and thermolysis.

Are you a professional electrologist or are you planning on becoming one? If not, are you willing to invest the same amount of time and money as professional electrologists do to perform electrolysis without scarring yourself?

im not a professional electrologist but i think from reading and other experiences i will work out how to use the machine. im not stupid i know the risk of scaring, il be using the lowest settings and then gradualy going up onces i know what setting which is right for me.
