Ok, so like many others I’ve read in this forum, I am tired of 5+ years of tweezing my unibrow. I tried laser before, but after each session, I quickly teweezed the unsitely hairs, so I don’t know how much good the treatments did.
I am a 21 yr old (thick-haired) male ready to start electrolysis, and I have a few questions:
Do the treated hairs fall out immediately after each session?
Are there different types of electrolysis?
No tweezing, only shaving and clipping b/w treatments, right? Is bleaching a possibility? (Any other advice on how to keep the stubble undercontrol b/w treatments)
I am living in Auburn, Alabama now, but will be in Lexington KY in the spring, then back in Alabama for the summer, then back to KY for the Fall. Does anyone have references to places in both locations so I could have treatments continuously for 9-12 months?
This problem is quite embarassing for me, and I don’t know how much stubble I can take working a 9-5 job, 5 d/a/w. I guess I’m curious as to how much more noticeable hair growth is throughout the electrolysis process, as opposed to my normal routine of tweezing every 4-5 days.

Yes. Galvanic, Thermolysis and Blend. All are effective. You can go to www.hairfacts.com to read up on each one. For the eyebrows, I do a combination attack and use thermolysis and blend only.

Shave, clip or bleach. They are all okay. Tweezing is never allowed once electrolysis is started.

You’ll have to do your own search if no one here can offer you names

You need to go in consistently when you see hair cycle in. Get the area cleared asap and then visit your electrologist when you see new hair coming forth. Plan to stay on a scedule for 9-12 months. You may need to go as long as 18 months if you have a lot of hair. Understand the hair growth cycles so you don’t blame the electrologist for something she/he can’t control. Don’t even go into this if you don’t understand that electrolysis, or laser for that matter, is a process that requires patience and proper behavior on the part of the client and proper skill on the part of the electrologist. Expect success. Do your homework.
