I know this is an American site but I noticed a lot of people from around the world use it to. It’s got a great wealth of information and it can be amazing how difficult it is to find good information on things like: electrolysis.

But it is even more difficult to find anything in the UK. I don’t really know what to do because most places I find in the UK work in salons and don’t seem to work exclusively with it. There aren’t many forums discussing it here either.

Can anyone mention a trusted electrolysis in the UK (England), especially in the North East? And is there anyone in the UK who has had success with it? I’ve only read about people having problems getting rid of the hair. Can some salons actually work?

Hope someone can help.

Search Benji Boy posts. A lot of our UK friends have offered good information about electrolysis care in the UK.

hey, where abouts in the North East? I am from Newcastle and think i have tried everywhere!! I am going to helen lloyd beauty at the minute. They have the apilus and the lady is really nice. Its the best i have been able to find and i have hunted high and low!

I agree, so many laser clinics and beauty salons do IPL but can’t find electrologists! Have you tried searching yell.com and see if they’ve advertised?

I checked out Benjiboy posts and I was surprised to find that he was seeing someone who I had been in contact with - Jennifer Clifton. I had been trying to find electrologists and I came across her website - seemed very convincing. The only problem is that I don’t have a lot of money and I have to travel quite far. I also read another UK poster that didn’t like the experience they had with her. I realise everyone can have different results but, because I don’t have a lot of money, and they’ll be working on mainly my face, I’m extremely cautious of who I pick.

I live near Newcastle, in Northumberland. :slight_smile: I did see Helen Lloyd’s website while I was doing my search but I had no idea if they were good or not. I really don’t know. It does help, thanks. :slight_smile: Have you noticed any difference in hair loss?

I have looked up online yell pages but there aren’t many people listed. There are a lot of salons in my town who do them, but I get the feeling that they wouldn’t be that good.

I’ve found a place in Durham called Finishing Touch. Has anyone heard of it? I got an email from them that I could post? I’m just not sure what to look for there seems to be so much to know. When it’s something so important you can get overwhelmed by it all.

I also remembering someone mentioning Pure Aesthetics Clinic, have they had any success with that place?
